Raid weapons are among the most sought-after pieces of equipment in Destiny 2. And that is as it should be. After all, Raids are the epitome of endgame content. This guide covers all the available Raid weapons, including Legendaries and Exotics.
Update based on Episode 3: Heresy.
Best Destiny 2 Raid weapons
This Tier list features the best Exotic and Legendary Raid weapons right now:
| Item | Weapon | Type | Archetype | Ammo? | Element? | Requirements | Rank | Source | Tier Rank | Source ❘ DLC | Verdict | Released | Best of? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Supremacy | ![]() The Supremacy Sniper Rifle | Sniper Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Special | Kinetic | Forsaken Pack | S › Best | Last Wish Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Last Wish Raid Forsaken Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rewind Rounds (also good: Lead from Gold) + Bait and Switch (also good: Focused Fury) PvP God Roll: Snapshot Sights (also good: Discord) + Opening Shot ► The Supremacy had a small fanbase upon initial release, but its popularity has only grown since its reissue in Season of the Deep. With strong perks, excellent stats, and the ability to be crafted, there's really nothing holding The Supremacy down. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Commemoration | ![]() Commemoration Machine Gun | Machine Gun | Adaptive | Heavy | Void | Beyond Light Pack | S › Best | Deep Stone Crypt Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Deep Stone Crypt Raid Beyond Light Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Reconstruction + Killing Tally (also good: Rampage) PvP God Roll: Rapid Hit + Killing Tally ► Commemoration remains a top contender amongst machine guns even years after its introduction. Reconstruction paired with the 30% damage buff offered by Killing Tally, makes this a no-brainer option in PvE. Given that Machine Guns are some of the few heavy weapons in PvP that can reasonably get a lot of kills, it's easy to see why players will enjoy using Commemoration. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Accrued Redemption | ![]() Accrued Redemption Combat Bow | Combat Bow | Precision | Primary | Kinetic | Shadowkeep Pack | S › Best | Garden of Salvation Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Garden of Salvation Raid Shadowkeep Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Successful Warmup or Archer’s Tempo + Kinetic Tremors (also good: Firefly) PvP God Roll: Archer’s Tempo + Archer’s Gambit or Swashbuckler ► Accrued Redemption is a solid bow, it can roll with Archer's Tempo and Explosive Head making it an excellent pick in PvE to quickly stagger targets at any distance. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Succession | ![]() Succession Sniper Rifle | Sniper Rifle | Aggressive | Special | Kinetic | Beyond Light Pack | S › Best | Deep Stone Crypt Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Deep Stone Crypt Raid Beyond Light Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Reconstruction + Recombination (also good: Vorpal Weapon) PvP God Roll: Moving Target + Snapshot Sights ► Despite the stigma most community members have against 72 RPM snipers, Succession still finds its way into most Guardian's inventories. If 72RPM snipers ever receive a buff, Succession may become one of the best special weapons in entire the game. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Trustee | ![]() Trustee Scout Rifle | Scout Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Primary | Solar | Beyond Light Pack | S › Best | Deep Stone Crypt Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Deep Stone Crypt Raid Beyond Light Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rapid Hit + Incandescent PvP God Roll: Killing Wind (also good: Surplus)+ Eye of the Storm (also good: High-Impact Reserves) ► Trustee is a top-of-the-line option. With perks like Rapid Hit and Incandescent available, as well as the Bray Inheritance Origin Trait, Trustee is an incredible all-rounder and feels spectacular for a Scout Rifle. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Techeun Force | ![]() Techeun Force Fusion Rifle | Fusion Rifle | Adaptive | Special | Arc | Forsaken Pack | S › Best | Last Wish Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Last Wish Raid Forsaken Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Reconstruction (also good: Rewind Rounds) + Controlled Burst PvP God Roll: Under Pressure (also good: Kill Clip) + High-Impact Reserves (also good: Kickstart) ► From zero to hero, Techeun Force is yet another example of a reprised weapon done right. While most adaptives are looked over, Techeun Force breaks the mold with both solid stats and solid perks for any content. And yes, it can still get double damage perks. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Corrective Measure | ![]() Corrective Measure Machine Gun | Machine Gun | Adaptive | Heavy | Void | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Vault of Glass Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Vault of Glass Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Destabilizing Rounds + One for All PvP God Roll: Dynamic Sway Reduction + High-Impact Reserves ► Upgraded to an aggressive frame, Corrective Measure now has both the power and the perks to make it a top tier pick, especially with the origin trait doubling the mag! | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Hezen Vengeance | ![]() Hezen Vengeance Rocket Launcher | Rocket Launcher | Aggressive | Heavy | Solar | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Vault of Glass Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Vault of Glass Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Envious Arsenal + Bait and Switch (also good: Elemental Honing) PvP God Roll: Cluster Bomb + Vorpal Weapon ► Hezen Vengeance has quickly cemented itself as the best rocket launcher currently available. With outstanding perks, a potent origin trait, and both craftable and adept variants, this weapon is a must-have for all Guardians. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Submission | ![]() Submission Submachine Gun | Submachine Gun | Lightweight | Primary | Kinetic | The Witch Queen | S › Best | Vow of the Disciple Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Vow of the Disciple Raid Witch Queen | Slot: PvE God Roll: Kinetic Tremors (also good: Overflow) + Chaos Reshaped PvP God Roll: Closing Time (also good: Perpetual Motion) + Target Lock (also good: Harmony) ► A must-have weapon for any Guardian, Submission is impressive in both PvE and PvP and has almost all the perks to back that up. It can lead the line or be a fantastic secondary in any powerful build currently in-game | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Conditional Finality | ![]() Conditional Finality Shotgun | Shotgun | Exotic | Special | Stasis | Lightfall | S › Best | Root of Nightmares Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Root of Nightmares Raid Lightfall | Slot: Exotic Perk: "Dual barrels split into Stasis and Solar damage. Landing nearly all Stasis pellets will freeze targets; landing nearly all Solar pellets will ignite targets." ► Conditional Finality might not be as 'must-have' as it was when it launched, but it remains an incredibly potent option in both PvE and PvP. Being able to waste majors in PvE and Supers in PvP, Conditional is still arguably the best Shotgun in the game. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Nullify | ![]() Nullify Pulse Rifle | Pulse Rifle | Heavy Burst | Primary | Solar | The Final Shape | S › Best | Salvation's Edge Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Salvation's Edge Raid The Final Shape | Slot: PvE God Roll: Demolitionist or Heal Clip + Chaos Reshaped or Incandescent PvP God Roll: Rapid Hit + Multikill Clip (also good: Chaos Reshaped) ► Solar Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle, Nullify is the first of its kind. While other Heavy Burst Pulses exist, like Corrasion or Aisha’s Care, they all fail to match up to Nullify’s outrageously loaded perk pool, especially for PvE. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Non-Denouement | ![]() Non-Denouement Combat Bow | Combat Bow | Precision | Primary | Arc | The Final Shape | S › Best | Salvation's Edge Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Salvation's Edge Raid The Final Shape | Slot: PvE God Roll: Archer’s Tempo or Dragonfly + Voltshot (also good: Chaos Reshaped) PvP God Roll: Opening Shot + Archer’s Gambit ► Non-Denouement receives most of its attention in PvE, primarily due to Voltshot in the final column. This is the first bow to ever roll with the perk, and it functions identically to how you’d expect. Voltshot is so good, in fact, that people are comparing this bow to Trinity Ghoul. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Critical Anomaly | ![]() Critical Anomaly Sniper Rifle | Sniper Rifle | Aggressive | Special | Stasis | The Final Shape | S › Best | Salvation's Edge Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE + PvP | Salvation's Edge Raid The Final Shape | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rewind Rounds or Chill Clip + Firing Line or Triple Tap PvP God Roll: Quickdraw or Opening Shot + Snapshot Sights or Explosive Payload ► Snipers are in a very good place, and the rolls on Critical Anomaly set it above most others. Not only can it roll with Rewind Rounds and Triple Tap, but it’s the first sniper to roll with Chill Clip. Being able to apply Slow or Freeze from a great distance will always come in handy as the difficulty rises. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Outbreak Perfected | ![]() Outbreak Perfected Pulse Rifle | Pulse Rifle | Exotic | Primary | Kinetic | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Zero Hour | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Zero Hour Free-to-Play | Slot: Exotic Perk: "This weapon creates SIVA nanite swarms on rapid hits and precision kills and does more damage to enemies based on the number of SIVA nanites that attach to them." PvE God Roll: Rewind Rounds PvP God Roll: Headseeker ► Now craftable, Outbreak is even more overpowered than before thanks to the addition of Rewind Rounds. This allows for the weapon to fire for much longer than it has any business doing so, making it a constant in any raider's loadout. | Season 6 | Top-tier |
| Parasite | ![]() Parasite Grenade Launcher | Grenade Launcher | Exotic | Heavy | Solar | The Witch Queen | S › Best | Exotic Quest | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Exotic Quest Witch Queen | Slot: Exotic Perk: "Fires Hive worms which explode on impact. The size and damage of the explosion scales with the number of enemies you've defeated just before firing this weapon. Taking damage from your own worm projectile detonation empowers your weapons for a short time." ► Parasite is an excellent weapon, particularly for challenging pieces of content. It doesn't flinch at Grandmaster Champions, can clear groups of enemies very easily, and even has a situational DPS niche inside of Raids and Dungeons. | Season 16 | Top-tier |
| Bequest | ![]() Bequest Sword | Sword | Adaptive | Heavy | Arc | Beyond Light Pack | S › Best | Deep Stone Crypt Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Deep Stone Crypt Raid Beyond Light Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Relentless Strikes + Surrounded (also good: Vorpal Weapon) ► Bequest is THE best sword for DPS and has been for a while. Surrounded is incredible for damage, and with its Adaptive Frame, its ability to be crafted, and its higher base impact of 70, Bequest is easily one of the best swords in the game right now. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Apex Predator | ![]() Apex Predator Rocket Launcher | Rocket Launcher | Adaptive | Heavy | Solar | Forsaken Pack | S › Best | Last Wish Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Last Wish Raid Forsaken Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Reconstruction (also good: Tracking Module) + Bait and Switch (also good: Explosive Light) ► While we're now past the height of the rocket launcher meta, Apex Predator is still an absolutely outstanding option when paired with a full damage loadout. Especially if you're unable to use an exotic heavy weapon for one reason or another, Apex is one of the best picks out right now. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Reckless Oracle | ![]() Reckless Oracle Auto Rifle | Auto Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Primary | Void | Shadowkeep Pack | S › Best | Garden of Salvation Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Garden of Salvation Raid Shadowkeep Pack | Slot: PvE God Roll: Destabilizing Rounds + One for All or Repulsor Brace ► Reprised for a second time, Reckless Oracle continues to show us why it’s the king of rapid-fire autos. Now sporting one of the game’s best damage perks for non-boss enemies, there’s no reason not to have one in your arsenal. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Praedyth's Revenge | ![]() Praedyth's Revenge Sniper Rifle | Sniper Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Special | Kinetic | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Vault of Glass Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Vault of Glass Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rewind Rounds or Fourth Time's the Charm + Bait and Switch or Elemental Honing ► Best known for its ability to get a whopping 68% damage buff with Elemental Honing, Praedyth’s Revenge is situationally broken. Even so, when ignoring those niche use cases, the weapon easily competes with weapons like The Supremacy that have dominated the meta for years. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Cataclysmic | ![]() Cataclysmic Linear Fusion Rifle | Linear Fusion Rifle | Precision | Heavy | Solar | The Witch Queen | S › Best | Vow of the Disciple Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Vow of the Disciple Raid Witch Queen | Slot: PvE God Roll: Fourth Time's The Charm + Bait and Switch ► While recent options like Briar's Contempt technically outclass Cataclysmic in total damage, this linear fusion rifle continues to be many players' first choice. It's easy to use, stacks nicely with Surge mods, and tends to be way more consistent than its competitors. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Zaouli’s Bane | ![]() Zaouli’s Bane Hand Cannon | Hand Cannon | Adaptive | Primary | Solar | Free-to-Play | S › Best | King's Fall Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | King's Fall Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Firefly (also good: Burning Ambition, Explosive Payload) + Chaos Reshaped (also good: Meganeura, Incandescent) ► The best Solar Hand Cannon in the game should be on every Guardian's list to pick up. Combining explosive power with large damage buffs, this weapon slots into any loadout with ease. Solar element opens up endless build opportunities. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Acasia's Dejection | ![]() Acasia's Dejection Trace Rifle | Trace Rifle | Adaptive | Special | Solar | Lightfall | S › Best | Root of Nightmares Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Root of Nightmares Raid Lightfall | Slot: PvE God Rolls: Rewind Rounds (also good: Reconstruction) + Incandescent (also good: Paracausal Affinity) ► On the same level as Retraced Path, Acasia's Dejection is one of the best legendary trace rifles for generic gameplay. While it does have Solar synergy through Incandescent, it's typically used without builds in mind. This trace rifle is an excellent pick for anyone looking for one that excels in all situations. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Briar's Contempt | ![]() Briar's Contempt Linear Fusion Rifle | Linear Fusion Rifle | Aggressive | Heavy | Solar | Lightfall | S › Best | Root of Nightmares Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Root of Nightmares Raid Lightfall | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rewind Rounds (also good: Reconstruction) + Focused Fury (also good: Surrounded) ► Briar's Contempt was released with little popularity, along with the rest of the Root of Nightmares weapons. However, now that people have had their hands on it for a bit, it's clear that Briar's is strong. The combination of Surrounded and Harmonic Resonance makes this weapon even stronger than Cataclysmic, but only in specific scenarios. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Fang of Ir Yût | ![]() Fang of Ir Yût Scout Rifle | Scout Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Primary | Strand | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Crota's End Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Crota's End Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rapid Hit + Precision Instrument ► Fang of Ir Yut is an excellent option for PvP with perks like Precision Instrument, dropping the time-to-kill down to 0.7 seconds provided you hit 4 headshots in a row. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Word of Crota | ![]() Word of Crota Hand Cannon | Hand Cannon | Precision | Primary | Void | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Crota's End Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Crota's End Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Repulsor Brace or Dragonfly + Destabilizing Rounds ► Word of Crota is pretty decisively the best 180RPM hand cannon currently available, offering absolutely strong perks like Destabilizing Rounds and Sword Logic. 180 RPM hand cannons can take a bit to get used to, but if you can stand their vertical kickback, Word of Crota is the play. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Song of Ir Yût | ![]() Song of Ir Yût Machine Gun | Machine Gun | Adaptive | Heavy | Arc | Free-to-Play | S › Best | Crota's End Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Crota's End Raid Free-to-Play | Slot: PvE God Roll: Demolitionist or Reconstruction + High Ground or Sword Logic ► A candidate for best arc heavy machine gun in the game, the Cursed Thrall origin trait coupled with a great perk pool offered here make this weapon a PvE favorite. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Summun Bonun | ![]() Summun Bonun Sword | Sword | Wave | Heavy | Arc | The Final Shape | S › Best | Salvation's Edge Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | Salvation's Edge Raid The Final Shape | Slot: PvE God Roll: Relentless Strikes or Attrition Orbs + Chaos Reshaped ► Summum Bonum is a serious contender in the Swords department. With high damage perks like Chaos Reshaped and Relentless Strikes, but also niche perks such as Attrition Orbs, Summum Bonum is a very powerful option. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| The When And Where | ![]() The When And Where Rocket Launcher | Rocket Launcher | Adaptive | Heavy | Stasis | The Edge of Fate | S › Best | The Desert Perpetual Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | The Desert Perpetual Raid The Edge of Fate | Slot: PvE God Roll: Chill Clip (also good: Reconstruction or Overflow) + Elemental Honing or Bait and Switch ► The When and Where is incredibly hot this season thanks to the Chill Clip and Temporal Loader mod synergy. You can fire this rocket without reloading with this mod, making it one of the best rockets available. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Lance Ephemeral | ![]() Lance Ephemeral Sniper Rifle | Sniper Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Special | Strand | The Edge of Fate | S › Best | The Desert Perpetual Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | The Desert Perpetual Raid The Edge of Fate | Slot: PvE God Roll: Fourth Time’s the Charm or Rewind Rounds (also good: Envious Arsenal) + Bait and Switch or Elemental Honing PvP God Roll: Snapshot Sights (also good: Built to Last) + Closing Time ► A rapid-fire sniper worthy of contending with the likes of Supremacy and Praedyth’s, Lance Ephemeral is a solid addition to any guardian’s arsenal. Great base stats and perks make this well worth the grind. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Antedate | ![]() Antedate Submachine Gun | Submachine Gun | Adaptive | Primary | Arc | The Edge of Fate | S › Best | The Desert Perpetual Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | The Desert Perpetual Raid The Edge of Fate | Slot: PvE God Roll: Rolling Storm or Dragonfly + Frenzy or Jolting Feedback PvP God Roll: Rangefinder + Target Lock ► While Antedate doesn’t seem like all that on paper (save for having Rolling Storm in the third column), its strong stats, clean sights, and powerful origin trait make it an above-average pick anywhere in the game. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Cusp Sempiternal | ![]() Cusp Sempiternal Auto Rifle | Auto Rifle | Support | Primary | Void | The Edge of Fate | S › Best | The Desert Perpetual Epic Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | The Desert Perpetual Epic Raid The Edge of Fate | Slot: PvE God Roll: Reciprocity (also good: Attrition Orbs or Repulsor Brace) + Destabilizing Rounds or Master of Arms ► Cusp Sempiternal comes with a variety of solid Void-based perks, but the main trick up its sleeve is the fact ithat t can grant Void Overshields to allies, making it remarkably strong. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| The Ever-Present | ![]() The Ever-Present Grenade Launcher | Grenade Launcher | Rapid-Fire | Heavy | Strand | The Edge of Fate | S › Best | The Desert Perpetual Epic Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvE | The Desert Perpetual Epic Raid The Edge of Fate | Slot: PvE God Roll: Bolt Scavenger or Ensemble + Chill Clip or Firing Line (also good: Aggregate Charge) ► A must-have weapon for PvE, holding all the cards to make several combinations of a top-tier weapon with the majority of its rolls. Easily one of the best heavy weapons in the current sandbox. The type of weapon to pull Guardians into raiding, exactly how raid weapons should be. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Prophet of Doom | ![]() Prophet of Doom Shotgun | Shotgun | Precision | Special | Arc | Shadowkeep Pack | S › Best | Garden of Salvation Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvP | Garden of Salvation Raid Shadowkeep Pack | Slot: PvP God Roll: Threat Detector + Closing Time (also good: Opening Shot) ► Prophet of Doom is one of the best PvP Shotguns available now, thanks to the strength of the Precision Frame archetype. Furthermore, it comes with Threat Detector and Closing Time, which immediately make it one of the best picks in the game due to the strength of Closing Time on Special ammo weapons. | S29 - Updated | Top-tier |
| Zealot's Reward | ![]() Zealot's Reward Fusion Rifle | Fusion Rifle | Rapid-Fire | Special | Void | Shadowkeep Pack | S › Best | Garden of Salvation Raid | ❘ S Excels in: PvP | Garden of Salvation Raid Shadowkeep Pack | Slot: PvP God Roll: Under Pressure + Kickstart or Closing Time ► While Zealot's might have lost High-Impact Reserves, it gained two very powerful perks in Kickstart and Closing Time. Tier Ranks used for our list:
- S+ Tier – Meta: Weapons so good they singlehandedly shifted the current meta
- S Tier – Best: Highest ranking weapons.
- A Tier – Strong: Very strong weapons, but not on the same level as S Tier Choices.
- B Tier – Average: Either decent weapons or weapons that fit a very specific niche/use case.
- C Tier – Weak: Mediocre weapons that are easily outclassed by the competition.
- D Tier – Worst: Weapons that don’t have much to offer and don’t deserve your attention.
Raid weapon farming: How to get them
Farming raid weapons is straightforward but certainly not easy. You’ll need a committed Fireteam and a few hours in front of you.
Farming newer raids
After years of complaints that raids (and dungeons) should be farmable, Bungie finally listened and introduced a system to farm the latest raids. This applies to all raids released after the release of the Vault of Glass.
Spoils of Conquest and chests
Once you have defeated the final boss, you’ll see a cache (chest) appear right next to the usual chest that spawns once the encounter is over. These caches are a great addition to the game as they let you use Spoils of Conquest (the raid currency) to purchase specific weapons and armor.

Purchasing a weapon or armor you have already found costs only 20 Spoils of Conquest, which can be earned from completing a full Raid, any Raid, including Garden of Salvation and Last Wish. This gives you more opportunities to find good rolls on the specific weapons you’re interested in.
On top of that, with these caches, you have a chance to get something you haven’t found before. They are more expensive, though, so think twice before using your precious Spoils of Conquest…
These Raid loot tables cover exactly what items can drop from every encounter.
Older raids
Up until recently, farming older raids, including Last Wish and Garden of Salvation, was impossible. These could only be completed once per character per week.
But Season of the Haunted (S17) introduced a Raid and Dungeon rotation. Every week, a different raid and dungeon are part of the weekly rotation, which means they become fully farmable, on top of also offering a Pinnacle reward each. This page covers the weekly Raid and dungeon rotation in depth.
Ranking criteria
For the record, as much as we tried to keep this list as objective as possible, it’s still based on our personal experience playing the PC version of the game.
Finally, if you’re wondering what criteria was used to build this Tier list, these are the main factors I took into account:
- Lethality: The higher the effective DPS and usability, the higher the ranking.
- Consistency: Some weapons may not have the highest DPS numbers, but they are so consistent, they more than make up for their lower DPS numbers.
- Ease of use: Similar to the point above, some weapons are very effective because they are easy to use and don’t require too much skill or setup. This is also rewarded with higher rankings.
- PVE/PVP Performance: High lethality in either PVE or PVP is equally valuable. However, a weapon that is good at both PVE and PVP should rank higher than one that is slightly better on only PVE or PVP.
- Fun factor: Not the most important factor, but it also helps if the weapon is damn fun to shoot with!
If you strongly disagree with some of the rankings here, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section. By the way, what is your personal favorite?
