How good is Nullify
Nullify is the first of its kind, being a Solar Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle. While there are some other Heavy Burst Pulses in the game right now, like Corrasion or Aisha’s Care, both fail to match up to Nullify’s outrageously loaded perk pool for PvE as Heal Clip, Chaos Reshaped, Incandescent, Firefly, and Demolitionist are all fantastic perks.
In PvP, Nullify is a tad weaker as there aren’t many options in terms of perks, with the only noticeable perk being Rapid Hit. PvP enjoyers will be better off with Aisha’s Care if they want to use a Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle due to Aisha’s superior base stats and stronger PvP perk pool.

PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
Magazine | Tactical Mag |
Perk 1 | Demolitionist or Heal Clip |
Perk 2 | Chaos Reshaped or Incandescent |
Masterwork | Reload Speed |
Maximizing Reload Speed is very important, which means Tactical Mag and a Reload Speed Masterwork are great on Nullify. Arrowhead Break is also nice for your barrel to make the gun’s recoil perfectly vertical.
For perk 1, you have two choices: Demolitionist lends itself to more grenade-focused builds and gives Nullify some additional utility, and Heal Clip improves the wielder’s survivability thanks to the Cure x1 on reload after a kill. It is personal preference between these two, but combining Heal Clip with Ember of Benevolence can be a solid combo if you are going for a Solar build.
In the second perk slot, the new Raid perk, Chaos Reshaped, is a brilliant option thanks to the 20% and 35% damage bonus at x1 and x2, respectively, making this weapon hit like a truck. However, Incandescent provides some solid AoE damage to the gun, making it perhaps slightly more effective for killing trash mobs.
Nullify PvP god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
Magazine | Steady Rounds |
Perk 1 | Rapid Hit |
Perk 2 | Multikill Clip (also good: Chaos Reshaped) |
Masterwork | Range |
Range and Stability are always important to maximize in PvP to extend your kill distance while also decreasing the amount of flinch you receive, therefore, Steady Rounds, a Range masterwork, and Arrowhead Break to bring the recoil direction to 100 is great.
For perk slot 1, Rapid Hit is the clear winner as it grants even more Stability on crit, granting a bonus of 12 Stability after just a single burst of damage. For perk 2, Multikill Clip is a straightforward way to get a good damage buff, but Chaos Reshaped is brilliant if you can keep the perk going.
How to get Nullify
Nullify comes from the Salvation’s Edge Raid and is available as a reward in three encounters: Substratum, Repository, and The Witness. Of all these encounters, Repository is the quickest to farm and complete, but it can get rather dull, meaning some may prefer to farm a boss like The Witness.
On top of dropping from specific encounters, Nullify can be purchased from the Raid cache upon completing the Raid, meaning that once you have obtained Nullify, you can purchase it for 20 Spoils of Conquest in hopes of getting a good roll. Furthermore, Nullify is also craftable, meaning you can purchase the Deepsighted version from the cache or randomly get one to drop from an encounter or the hidden red-border chest. We cover the entire Salvation Edge’s loot table here.
