How do we rank these weapons?
Other terrific Destiny 2 resources do a better job of providing Guardians with massive item databases (looking at you, light.gg!). What sets us apart is the extensive work we do as a team to provide (and update) tier ranks for every weapon in the game.
Keeping our Ranks database up to date
Each member of the Team is responsible for specific weapon types (one does Sidearms and Scout Rifles, while another one does Hand Cannons and Snipers, etc). Every Season, we update all tier lists to include newly released weapons and update existing ranks based on the latest patch notes and meta changes.
Our in-house Meta Editor reviews all ranks to ensure they are consistent overall, provide a second opinion, and make sure no game-breaking perk combo is forgotten.
We don’t promise everything will always be perfect, but we continuously add firewalls and methods to cross-check the work the entire team does. This work takes massive resources, which is why the entire team contributes when updating Tier lists and creating God Rolls.
