Ghost of the Deep Exotic

The The Navigator & Catalyst can only drop from the dungeon’s final boss. Although we prefer more deterministic Exotic quests that are not connected to RNG, you can complete specific triumphs that, when completed, increase your chances of earning the Dungeon Exotic. 

Ghost of the Deep Armor: Taken King

As with every other dungeon in Destiny 2, Ghost of the Deep offers one armor set per class.

This time around, the armor sets are heavily inspired by the Lucent Hive. And by the way, they look incredible.

Master Ghost of the Deep Loot

Ghost of the Deep also features a Master version that rewards Artifice armor. In a nutshell, Artifice armor is unique because it offers a bonus Mod slot. This may not sound like much, but if you’re into endgame content, these can make a huge difference.

Ghost of the Deep Collectibles

This dungeon features several collectibles and items, including an Exotic Sparrow.

Is Ghost of the Deep farmable?

Whenever Ghost of the Deep is the featured dungeon of the week, it can be farmed for unlimited loot, including its Exotic! All you’ll need is a committed Fireteam and a couple of hours ahead of you.

This is how you can farm the Ghost of the Deep dungeon:

1. Go through the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
2. Start the encounter and wipe (i.e., die without beating it).
3. Ask your Fireteam to wait. Change characters and log into a character that hasn’t run the dungeon that week.
4. On that second character, join again your Fireteam.
5. Wipe again. Now your second character has the proper checkpoint.

And that’s it. You can now farm that encounter ad nauseam until reset! To continue farming, you need to:

1. Launch the dungeon using your second character (the one that is holding the checkpoint).
2. Change characters and rejoin your Fireteam on your first character.
3. Complete the encounter for loot.
4. Exit the dungeon, switch characters again, and repeat Step 1.
