Vow of the Disciple weapons, Destiny 2

Vow of the Disciple Raid Exotic

As every other raid in Destiny 2 does, Vow features an exclusive Exotic weapon, in this case, the Collective Obligation Pulse rifle. This Raid Exotic drops from the Final encounter after completing the Raid.

Collective Obligation

With the ability to debuff everything in sight, Collective Obligation can shine as no other weapon can. That being said, you’re almost required to create a build with it to make it worth your exotic slot. While this weapon has amazing potential, having to work to make your exotic feel “exotic” isn’t great.

Exotic Perk: “This weapon leeches Void debuffs when damaging targets that are suppressed, weakened, or volatile. Once charged, damage from this weapon applies the same Void debuffs that were leeched. Weapon automatically reloads when you gain Devour, a Void overshield, or become invisible.”

As with every other raid in Destiny 2, the Vow of the Disciple also offers one set of armor for each class:

Vow of the Disciple Adept Loot

Vow of the Disciple on Master mode can reward you with powerful Adept weapons.

Vow of the Disciple Adept loot

Completing the Vow of the Disciple on Master mode won’t be enough, though, as you’ll also have to complete the weekly Master challenge for a chance to acquire a random Adept weapon.

Adept Vow weapons follow a knockout system. Every week you complete the challenge, a new Adept weapon will drop. Once you have acquired all Adept Vow of the Disciple weapons, random Adept weapons will drop. You can find this week’s Vow Master Challenge here.

Finally, this raid also features two exclusive items: An Exotic Sparrow and an Exotic Ghost Shell:

Is Vow of the Disciple farmable?

You can absolutely farm Vow of the Disciple loot by spending Spoils of Conquest at its vendor or by farming the raid whenever it becomes the featured raid of the week.

Farming raids in Destiny 2 used to be impossible as they could only be completed once per character per week. Vow, however, can be farmed with Spoils of Conquest. Once you have defeated the final boss, Rhulk, you’ll see the Lubrae’s Ruin appear. There you can use your Spoils of Conquest to purchase weapons and armor.

Note you can only purchase weapons and armor you have already earned by completing encounters within the raid. This system gives you more opportunities to find good rolls on the specific gear you’re interested in. Each item costs 20 Spoils of Conquest.
