How to get Lubrae’s Ruin
You’ll have to step into the Vow of the Disciple Raid to get your hands on Lubrae’s Ruin. This Raid has four encounters, but only the final boss drops the Glaive. While Rhulk is easy to farm, the lack of choice isn’t great. You can also purchase Lubrae’s Ruin from the Raid cache after defeating Rhulk.
Due to Lubrae only dropping from the final encounter, it is much more efficient to farm Rhulk than simply completing the whole Raid repeatedly unless you are going for multiple weapons.

How good is Lubrae’s Ruin
Lubrae’s Ruin is pretty old, meaning it doesn’t have some of the new, powerful perks that other Glaives may have, but it’s still a solid option that can be crafted, guaranteeing a good roll.
The weapon frame doesn’t help Lubrae’s Ruin either, and it will kill 0.17s slower than weapons like Greasy Luck in PvP as they are part of the Rapid-Fire frame, firing at 80 RPM rather than 55.
In PvE, it will deal less damage than options like Judgment of Kelgorath due to the weapon archetype. However, Lubrae’s Ruin is still viable and is a bit more survivable thanks to the Souldrinker Origin Trait found on all Vow of the Disciple Raid weapons.
Lubrae’s Ruin is viable but is pretty mediocre compared to the competition, as it fails to fill a specific niche. Things become even tougher for Lubrae’s Ruin when players realise that better Special weapon types like Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers are available. Overall, Lubrae’s Ruin is C-Tier (Weak) for PvE and B-Tier (Average) for PvP.

Lubrae’s Ruin Perks and God Rolls
Lubrae’s Ruin can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Turnabout, Tilting at Windmills, Killing Wind, Steady Hands, Grave Robber, Immovable Object, and Sleight of Hand
- Perk 2: Unrelenting, Wellspring, Unstoppable Force, Surrounded, Bait and Switch, Vorpal Weapon, and Swashbuckler.

Glaives are known for their defensive capabilities, thanks to the shield. Therefore, the Haft, Low-Impedance Windings grants more Shield Duration. Due to the small magazine size of four, Reload Speed, which the Haft and Magazine both provide, is also handy.
Immovable Object grants more shield energy when stationary, and Unstoppable Force pairs with this nicely as it grants a 20% damage bonus upon blocking damage with the shield. Surrounded also works if you prefer a more ‘in the trenches’ style weapon for even more damage.

- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Perk 1: Immovable Object or Killing Wind
- Perk 2: Unstoppable Force
- Masterwork: Range
For PvP, utilising the shield correctly will massively boost a Glaive’s viability. Therefore, choosing Auxillary Reserves and shield-related perks is a no-brainer. Accurized Rounds provides additional Range, which feels like it helps with hit-registration on Lubrae’s Ruin.
Immovable Object paired with Unstoppable force is a good combination; however, other options exist. Killing Wind, with its additional Range on kill, can make it easier to keep your distance and snipe people with the Glaive rather than be close quarters, putting you at risk of being killed by a Shotgun.
