Vow of the Disciple has been out for quite a while now, but that doesn’t mean its weapons have fallen in strength. Many players still chase some of its powerful weapons weekly, including Deliverance.
Today, we cover how to obtain the Deliverance Fusion Rifle, its performance in the current meta, and the best perk combinations available.

How to get Deliverance
To get Deliverance, you’ll have to enter the Vow of the Disciple Raid. For most optimal farming, players should wait for Vow of the Disciple to be the featured weekly Raid and join a group farming one of the encounters.
Only the first and third encounters can drop Deliverance, so make sure to target them. You can also complete the final boss, Rhulk, and interact with the chest to obtain a weekly red-border Deliverance, provided you’ve had one drop already. Farming an encounter is much more efficient, and we recommend farming the third encounter, as it can be completed faster than the first, but if you prefer the Acquisition encounter, that is fine. How good is Deliverance
Deliverance’s main problem in PvE is its stiff competition in the Kinetic slot. Some players may choose options like Scatter Signal and Riptide, as Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifles are better for DPS rotations and generally ‘feel’ nicer to use, or they may opt for Burden of Guilt. Unfortunately, Precision Frame Fusion Rifles take a long time to charge, making the weapon feel pretty clunky.
In PvP, Deliverance is remarkably forgiving thanks to its archetype, and once you get used to the slower Charge Time, you can dominate lobbies.
Despite the competition, Deliverance does have some niche uses. Players can use perks like Demolitionist to generate a ton of grenade energy because this weapon is a Special weapon, and you can also enjoy the luxuries of Chill Clip to freeze enemies and counter Overload and Unstoppable Champions. Overall, Deliverance is B-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

Deliverance Perks and God Rolls
The Deliverance fusion rifle can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Demolitionist, Cornered, Compulsive Reloader, Heating Up, Perpetual Motion, Steady Hands, and Sleight of Hand
- Perk 2: Surrounded, Tap the Trigger, Harmony, Adrenaline Junkie, Chill Clip, Bait and Switch, and Successful Warm-Up
Deliverance PvE god roll
- Barrel: Fluted Barrel
- Battery: Enhanced Battery
- Perk 1: Demolitionist
- Perk 2: Chill Clip
- Masterwork: Charge Time
Being a Precision Frame Fusion Rifle, it comes with less Handling and a longer Charge Time than options like Riptide, meaning Fluted Barrel and a Charge Time Masterwork are preferred. Enhanced Battery provides a neutral effect adding one burst to the magazine, bumping the size to six.
Regarding the perks, Demolitionist will grant 20% grenade energy on kill, which is incredible for grenade-focused builds, and Chill Clip comes with the added utility of freezing enemies.
Deliverance PvP god roll
- Barrel: Arrowhead Break or Extended Barrel
- Battery: Projection Fuse
- Perk 1: Heating Up or Perpetual Motion
- Perk 2: Successful Warm-Up
- Masterwork: Range
Deliverance can be built to have high range with Extended Barrel or a perfect 100 Recoil Direction and bonus Handling with Arrowhead Break. The choice is yours. Projection Fuse provides a nice bump to Range, letting you kill from far away.
For perks, Heating Up and Successful Warm-Up will be the best options for general play, as they allow players to chain kills back to back easily. Successful Warm-Up also helps the lengthy Charge Time that Deliverance has. Perpetual Motion is acceptable in the first slot, too.
