Euphony is an Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle that drops from Salvation’s Edge, Destiny 2’s latest raid. Being one of few Linear Fusions that use Special ammo, Euphony is an extremely unique weapon with meta-defining Exotic traits.
For these reasons, Guardians continue to grind Salvation’s Edge every week. This guide covers how powerful this Exotic LFR is and tells you exactly how to get it.

How to get the Euphony Exotic
The Euphony Exotic can only drop from Salvation’s Edge’s final boss, The Witness.
Although we prefer more deterministic Exotic quests that are not connected to RNG, you can complete specific triumphs that increase your chances of earning this Dungeon Exotic. You can find the entire Salvation’s Edge Loot Table here.
Can you farm Euphony?
Unfortunately, you cannot farm the Euphony. Raid exotics cannot be farmed infinitely unless their respective raid becomes the weekly featured raid. Alas, Salvation’s Edge will not be part of the rotation until Episode 1 (to be confirmed…), which means you only get a chance to obtain the Exotic Linear fusion rifle once per character per week.
Euphony drop rate
As with all Raid and Dungeon Exotics, Euphony is estimated to have a base drop rate of around 5%, based on community-driven data. However, actual drop rates are unknown, as Bungie has never shared that information.
Albeit drop rates for Raid and Dungeon exotics are abysmally low, completing Triumphs will increase dungeon exotic drop rates. This is also the case for Euphony, too:

How good is the Euphony Raid Exotic?
Euphony’s exotic traits are the following:
- Unwound Intrinsic: Dealing sustained damage with this weapon spawns Threadlings at your target’s location.
- Spindle: Threadlings damage increases this weapon’s damage.
Euphony is remarkably powerful, and it gets even better when used on Strand Warlock thanks to Broodweaver’s ability to spawn lots of Threadlings, stacking the Spindle perk faster, allowing Euphony to rival some Heavy Weapons for damage.
