Weapons of Sorrow are some of Destiny’s most infamous guns, twisted by Hive magic and tied to some dark lore.
But right now, there’s a much more practical reason to care about them: you’ll need them for the latest Exotic quest: Oblation: Bloodline. Below, we’ll go over all 4 Weapons of Sorrow, what they are, and more importantly, how to get them.
Known Weapons of Sorrow
There are only five confirmed Weapons of Sorrow today, all of them Exotics:
![]() | Osteo Striga | Submachine Gun | The Witch Queen Campaign | Season 16
![]() | Necrochasm | Auto Rifle | Crota's End Raid | S29 - Updated
![]() | Praxic Blade | Sword | Exotic Quest | Renegades
![]() | Thorn | Hand Cannon | Exotic Kiosk | Season 6
![]() | Touch of Malice | Scout Rifle | King's Fall Raid | S29 - Updated |
How to get them
If you’re stuck and desperately need a Weapon of Sorrow, know that some are much easier to get than others…
Necrochasm and Touch of Malice are definitely the hardest to get, as they are tied to RNG and clearing two raids, Crota’s End and King’s Fall, respectively.
Osteo Striga and Praxic Blade are easier, as there are no raids involved. However, you’ll need to clear several quests in order to get them.
Finally, you’ve got Thorn, clearly the easiest of the bunch to get. It may take some resources, but you purchase it from Monument to Lost Lights at the Tower.
