The new Root of Nightmares is here and while most players are still struggling to clear it, mainly because of its Contest mode modifier, some Guardians have already claimed the new Exotic Stasis Shotgun: The Conditional Finality. So far, the weapon seems to be promising, especially for PvE.
This guide covers how powerful this new Shotgun is and tells you exactly how to get it.
How to get Conditional Finality
The Conditional Finality can only drop from the Root of Nightmare’s final boss. Taking into account that Root appears to be a relativelty short and easy raid (World’s First cleared in under 3 hours), you shouldn’t have too much trouble farming it until you finally get your hands on the weapon.
💠You can find the entire Root of Nightmares loot table here.
How good is this New Exotic Shotgun?
It is clearly too early to tell how powerful this new shotgun is, but it certainly is quite unique when looking at its Exotic Traits:
Paracausal Pellets: Landing nearly all Stasis pellets will freeze targets; landing nearly all Solar pellets will ignite targets.
Split Decision: Dual Barrels split into Stasis and Solar damage.
But the community will need a few more days to test it out in different situations and figure out how meta this weapon can be for either PvE or PvP.
Before you go…
While you farm the new raid on a weekly basis, don’t forget that there are other new Exotics worth your attention. You can check all the Lightfall Exotics here.
