How good is Hezen Vengeance
Because of its ability to roll with so many newly-introduced perks, Hezen Vengeance has immediately cemented itself as the best rocket launcher currently available.
Envious Arsenal is effectively a better version of Envious Assassin, and Hezen Vengeance can roll with both it and Bait and Switch. These synergize extremely well, allowing you to quickly pump out damage through a weapon rotation with no trouble at all.
Hezen Vengeance also carries the Timelost Magazine origin trait, allowing for two rockets in a single magazine after using your Super. Plus, it has the new Elemental Honing trait which can surpass Bait and Switch’s damage increase (35% vs 30%) in perfect conditions.
Overall, Hezen Vengeance is a monster. It has a plethora of things going for it in both PvE and PvP, making this a must-have weapon for every Guardian. Hezen Vengeance is S-Tier for PvE and A-tier for PvP.

Hezen Vengeance PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch |
Magazine | Impact Casing |
Perk 1 | Envious Arsenal |
Perk 2 | Bait and Switch (also good: Elemental Honing) |
Masterwork | Handling |
For PvE, we’ll begin with Quick Launch, Impact Casing, and a handling masterwork for additional velocity, handling, and damage.
Envious Arsenal is the top pick for column one; even if you aren’t utilizing a damage rotation, this perk is absurdly easy to trigger and entirely removes the need to reload. Bait and Switch pairs nicely with both this and Hezen’s origin trait, offering a significant 30% increase in damage. However, if you’re able to fully optimize your loadout, opting for Elemental Honing instead will technically offer an even greater damage buff at 35%.
Hezen Vengeance PvP god rolls
PvP Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch |
Magazine | High-Velocity Rounds |
Perk 1 | Cluster Bomb |
Perk 2 | Vorpal Weapon |
Masterwork | Blast Radius |
To gain the best possible mix of velocity and blast radius, we’ll start with Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, and a blast radius masterwork.
Cluster Bomb, a rare sight in the third column, grants an even greater chance of successfully damaging Guardians, making it our top pick. As for the final column, Vorpal Weapon is generally best, allowing for an increase in damage when it’s needed most.
