Destiny 2 Corrective Measure: God Rolls & How to get it

by | Feb 14, 2025

Corrective Measure, upon its re-release back in Season of the Splicer, was well received as it was one of very few Void machine guns that had solid perks. But when Deep Stone Crypt made Commemoration the new hotness, Corrective was quickly forgotten.

However, thanks to VOG’s refresh, Corrective is back and better than ever, sporting a new frame and perk pool that has something for everyone. This guide will cover everything you need to know about this iconic Void Machine Gun

How good is Corrective Measure

Now an Aggressive Frame, Corrective Measure sits among the most powerful machine guns in the game. Its high damage per shot coupled with its rather forgiving recoil makes this excellent for heavy ad-clear, especially when factoring in Timelost Magazine. This new origin trait not only doubles the mag size after using your super; it also pulls right from reserves too! But the real prize here is the double damage perk option. Redirection finds itself in slot 1, and all other damage perks are in slot 2, letting you stack them for even more damage! While a niche pick, it can be quite the damage boost if you manage to use it right.

In PvP, this is a very solid choice for heavy if you’re already using an exotic. Agg frames hold the fastest TTK out of any of the machine gun frames, and perks like Dynamic Sway Reduction and High-Impact Reserves will make it even easier to melt opposing Guardians. Corrective Measure is A-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

Corrective Measure PvE god rolls

PvE Roll: All-Around
Barrel Fluted Barrel
Magazine Appended Mag
Perk 1 Destabilizing Rounds or Firefly
Perk 2 Killing Tally or One-for-All
Masterwork Reload Speed

For some ease-of-use, we’ll be throwing on Fluted Barrel to bump the handling and stability a bit. As for the magazine, Appended Mag is the best choice here. Tactical Mag looks enticing, but the middling amount of ammo it gives is not worth the stat boosts. A reload speed masterwork will help round out the stats.

For Perk 1, a lot of good options are here, but Destabilizing Rounds or Firefly are easily the best. Both play very well into both of our slot 2 options, and Destabilizing Rounds now grants Volatile Rounds directly to the gun! Perk 2 also has strong contenders, but Killing Tally or One-For-All take the cake. Both buff damage a rather significant amount, though their activation conditions are what set them apart: kills vs hits. Honorable mention to Demoralize, as pairing it with Firefly is a fun, but ultimately niche, combo.

Corrective Measure PvP god rolls

PvP Roll: All-Around
Barrel Chambered Compensator
Magazine Steady Rounds
Perk 1 Dynamic Sway Reduction
Perk 2 High-Impact Reserves (also good: Killing Tally)
Masterwork Stability

Now in PvP, we’re going to want this as steady and stable as possible, and for that, Chambered Compensator + Steady Rounds will be our picks. Chambered Comp gives us a hefty boost to recoil and stability, and despite Steady Rounds knocking range down, it actually only affects the range by less than a meter. Throw on a stability masterwork to make this akin to a laser beam.

Perks 1 and 2 will be the tried and true Dynamic Sway Reduction and High-Impact Reserves. DSR will make this even more stable (if that’s even possible), and HIR, while not the largest damage boost, will be active right off the rip. However, if you manage to go on sprees, then Killing Tally might be the better option.
