Destiny 2 Vision of Confluence: God Rolls & How to get it

With the launch of Episode 3: Heresy, Bungie have reprised the Vault of Glass weapons with new perks, a new Origin Trait, and the ability to craft and enhance some of the most nostalgic weapons in the game. This article will cover how to get the Vision of Confluence Scout Rifle, and the god rolls available.

How good is Vision of Confluence

With its reprisal, Vision of Confluence has been blessed with a versatile perk pool for PvE and PvP. With a surplus of damage perks available in the second column, and options for crowd control or self-sustain in the first column, the weapon is viable in most situations. 

Vision of Confluence is A-Tier for PvE and B-tier for PvP.

Vision of Confluence Perks & God Rolls

The Vision of Confluence Solar Precision Scout Rifle can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Rewind Rounds, Zen Moment, Outlaw, Demolitionist, Tunnel Vision, Heal Clip, Incandescent.
• Perk 2: Firefly, Kill Clip, Desperate Measures, Frenzy, Paracausal Affinity, Elemental Honing, Explosive Payload.
• Origin Trait: Timelost Magazine.

Vision of Confluence PvE god rolls

PvE Roll: All-Around
Barrel	Fluted Barrel
Magazine	Tactical Mag
Perk 1	Incandescent (also good: Heal Clip)
Perk 2	Explosive Payload (also good: Frenzy)
Masterwork	Stability

We recommend Fluted Barrel and Tactical Mag due to the boosts to Stability and Handling, while also increasing the reload speed to make the weapon feel smoother to use.

Incandescent is a strong option to help with this weapon’s add clear, as kills cause explosions which also applies Scorch to nearby enemies, causing damage over time and potentially Ignitions.
Heal Clip is a viable option if you are struggling with self-sustain, as reloading after a kill grants Cure x2.

Explosive Payload is recommended in column 2 as it provides the weapon with a slight damage boost, and also helps with staggering some of the bigger enemies in game.
Frenzy is also a viable option. While the weapon does have a large variety of damage perks, Frenzy is the easiest to keep active as it only requires being in combat, and also boosts the weapons Handling and Reload Speed. (If using Frenzy, we recommend swapping to Extended Mag).

We recommend Fluted Barrel due to the boost in Stability and Handling, while Accurized Rounds helps with the Range.

Zen Moment is recommended as the best PvP option as it grants Flinch Resistance while also reducing weapon shake and reticle bounce, making it easier to keep landing your shots.

Explosive Payload is recommended as it can provide a very small damage boost while also causing your target to flinch, increasing your odds at winning the gunfight.

How to get Vision of Confluence

Vision of Confluence can be obtained through the Vault of Glass Raid in the Legends tab of the director. Specifically the Conflux, Oracles or Templar encounters. The Timelost version of Vision of Confluence can also be obtained by completing the Conflux challenge on Master Difficulty, or by purchasing them with Spoils of Conquest upon completion of Master Vault of Glass.

With the launch of Heresy, Vision of Confluence can also now be crafted at The Enclave after acquiring 5 Deepsight Patterns. These patterns can be acquired through either random drops from encounter completions, one guaranteed Deepsight weapon upon the first raid completion per reset, and one guaranteed from completion of Hawthorne’s weekly quest.
