Released with the Ash & Iron Major Update, Cusp Sempiternal is a
Void Support Frame Auto Rifle that can be farmed by completing The Desert Perpetual Epic Raid. Cusp Sempiternal comes with a variety of solid Void-based perks, but the main trick up its sleeve is the fact it can grant Void Overshields to allies. This guide covers its place in the current Meta, top rolls for PvE and PvP, and how to farm it.

How good is Cusp Sempiternal
Cusp Sempiternal is a part of the Support Frame of Auto Rifles, which immediately puts it near the top of all primary weapons in the game, as these Auto Rifles are very strong. The ability to heal your allies can’t be understated in high-difficulty activities, and Cusp Sempiternal does that, and more. Continuously healing allies will give them a Void Overshield, which is one of the strongest defensive buffs available.
Cusp Sempiternal does have some competition, namely No Hesitation. While it may not out and out surpass No Hesitation in some ways, it definitely is no slouch thanks to the presence of generalist perks like Reciprocity, Attrition Orbs, and Master of Arms, or Void perks like Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace. The lack of Physic does hurt the weapon a bit, but the Repulsor/Destabilizing combo should help you out. Cusp Sempiternal is S-Tier for PvE and C-tier for PvP.

Cusp Sempiternal PvE god rolls
| PvE Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Fluted Barrel |
| Magazine | Flared Magwell |
| Perk 1 | Reciprocity (also good: Attrition Orbs or Repulsor Brace) |
| Perk 2 | Destabilizing Rounds or Master of Arms |
| Masterwork | Reload Speed |
Starting off with our barrel and magazine, we recommend Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell. These are both relatively standard and improve how the weapon feels to use by boosting the Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed of the weapon. A Reload Masterwork can further aid in boosting the Reload Speed.
For perk 1, there are a number of options, but Reciprocity is our main pick. Being able to heal yourself on command is undeniably powerful, but Attrition Orbs and Repulsor Brace are also excellent options. In perk slot 2, we suggest Destabilizing Rounds or Master of Arms. Both are solid options, but if we had to pick, we’d give a slight edge to Destabilizing Rounds due to the synergy with Repulsor Brace.
How to get Cusp Sempiternal
Cusp Sempiternal comes from The Desert Perpetual Raid on Kepler. However, make sure to play the Epic version of the raid, as it is only a part of that version’s loot pool. We cover all Desert Perpetual Epic Raid Weapons here.
