How to get Defiance of Yasmin
Defiance of Yasmin is one of six legendary weapons to come from the free-to-play King’s Fall raid. You can obtain copies of this sniper rifle in two ways: either randomly from the Warpriest, Daughters, and Oryx encounters, or you can purchase copies for 20 Spoils of Conquest at the end-of-raid vendor.
In addition to its normal variant, Defiance of Yasmin has an Adept (Harrowed) edition obtainable from King’s Fall raid’s Master difficulty. How good is Defiance of Yasmin
Despite sniper rifles not always being at the top of the meta, Defiance of Yasmin excels past the majority of its competition in all areas of the game.
In PvE, snipers simply aren’t that popular right now. Fusion rifles and shotguns are generally the top special weapons for DPS, while wave frame grenade launchers like Forbearance have ad clear on lock. Despite this, Yasmin does have some relatively potent perks that allow it to excel in situations that favor sniper rifles over their competition.
Moving over to The Crucible, this weapon has a surprising amount going for it. While you’re unlikely to see players claiming Defiance of Yasmin is their favorite sniper, it has the stats and perks to hold its ground pretty well against other top choices, such as the Mercurial Overreach.
Due to its above-average potency and a solid selection of desirable perks, Defiance of Yasmin is an A-Tier weapon in both PvE and PvP.

When building this weapon for PvE, you’ll want to start by prioritizing handling and reload speed; handling is useful during DPS rotations, while reload speed is vital due to the lack of an auto-reloading perk in Yasmin’s pool.
As for main perks, Lead from Gold and Firing Line is the most common combination, and rightfully so. However, worth mentioning in the first column is Ensemble. Especially if you’re already getting Firing Line to trigger, Ensemble should work most of the time to grant extra reload speed. To top it all off, Runneth Over (the King’s Fall origin trait) has the same proc condition as both of these perks, allowing for an overflowed magazine as well.
