Destiny 2 Omniscient Eye: God Rolls & How to get it

by | Oct 17, 2024

Garden of Salvation finally received a refreshed loot pool with Episode: Revenant, instantly making it a significantly more popular raid.

Here, we’ll cover one of the seven legendary weapons that got a refreshed perk pool with this update: Omniscient Eye.

How good is Omniscient Eye

While sniper rifles have consistently hovered around average potency in the meta for seasons on end, Omniscient Eye brings enough new perks to the table to make it a solid option.

In PvE, Omniscient Eye primarily excels in being a more general pick for activities like Nightfalls. Other weapon types are typically still chosen over snipers (and other snipers, like The Supremacy, best Omniscient Eye), but this one can be an alright pick if you’re looking for a Solar option.

Omniscient Eye performs similarly in The Crucible. Even though it holds a solid amount of top-tier perks in its pool, it doesn’t bring much that other options lack.

Omniscient Eye PvE god rolls

PvE Roll: All-Around
Barrel Fluted Barrel
Magazine Tactical Mag
Perk 1 Fourth Time’s the Charm (also good: Envious Arsenal)
Perk 2 Precision Instrument
Masterwork Handling

We’ll start with Fluted Barrel, Tactical Mag, and a handling masterwork for our PvE roll. This results in increased magazine size, handling, reload speed, and stability, all of which are important.

Fourth Time’s the Charm in column three lets you dump tons of ammo in one go. This also lets you easily stack Precision Instrument, which is our choice for the final column. That said, Envious Arsenal is also worth mentioning in the third column, which is the pick if you’re looking to use Omniscient Eye in a damage rotation.

Omniscient Eye PvP god rolls

PvP Roll: All-Around
Barrel Fluted Barrel
Magazine Steady Rounds
Perk 1 Lone Wolf
Perk 2 Snapshot Sights
Masterwork Stability

For PvP, we’ll start with Fluted Barrel, Steady Rounds, and a stability masterwork to focus mostly on stability and handling.

Lone Wolf, a perk new with Episode: Revenant, is our pick for the first main column. All three of the stats it boosts are helpful, and snipers typically keep you away from teammates (making it trigger more frequently). As for our final perk, the classic choice of Snapshot Sights is best.
