Destiny 2 Cenotaph Mask: Build + How to get

by | Apr 14, 2024

Cenotaph Mask has always been a capable Exotic, but it just became one of the most popular and Meta Exotic out there, all thanks to its effectiveness in Onslaught, especially on Legend mode.

Today, we’ll go through acquiring this Exotic and using it to put together one of the best Warlock builds in Destiny 2.

How to get the Cenotaph Mask Exotic

As a somewhat recent Exotic, you can only acquire Cenotaph Mask when farming Legend Lost Sectors or Vex Strike Force events.

Legend or Master Lost Sectors will be your most straightforward path, as each day offers a specific armor slot (Legs, Arms, etc), thereby having the smallest pool to pull from. Vex Strike Force can be more efficient as it works on a knockout system. After getting a Precious Scar for the first time, you can farm it at Rahool by focusing Exotic engrams.

Armor Mods:

  • Helmet: Heavy Ammo Finder, Heavy Ammo Scout
  • Arms: Impact Induction and Fastball
  • Chest: Resistance Mods and Reserve Mods
  • Legs: Scavenger Mod and Surge Mods
  • Class Item: Bomber

Strategy & Gameplay Loop:

This is a very basic setup that only asks you don’t kill the big boys.

1️⃣ Using your trace rifle, start hitting a target until they have a large orange ‘X’ appear over them. This indicates they are marked.

2️⃣ Have any of your allies get the final blow while the target is still marked. You can refresh the mark if needed by hitting the target again for a few seconds.

3️⃣ Watch as glorious Special ammo bricks fly from the target, letting you start the cycle once more. Your allies will be thankful for the Heavy as well.

4️⃣ (Optional) If you are using The Navigator, don’t forget to shoot your allies every now and then to grant both you and them Woven Mail!

Before you go…
