Destiny 2 Witch Weapons (S22): How to get farm them

On top of delivering two new seasonal activities and a reprised raid, Season of the Witch also features several brand-new weapons that are making a lot of noise. Some of these definitely have the potential to become top-tier, and you should definitely farm them before they go.

This guide covers all the weapons from Season of the Witch (S22) activities and tells you how to best farm them.

The best Witch weapons in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Witch weapons farm: Where to find them

Unlike past Seasons that were plagued with confusing currencies and gameplay loops, Season of the Witch features the same streamlined system introduced with Season of Defiance. This system comes with fewer currencies and items to deal with and is, hands down, much simpler to understand. In a nutshell, there are mainly three methods to acquire Witch weapons:

• Completing seasonal activities: Savathûn’s Spire and Altars of Summoning
• Decoding Witch engrams at the Athenaeum in the H.E.L.M.
• Increasing your Ritual Table Reputation

If you’re specifically looking for the Recovered Red War weapons, you can focus them at the Ritual Table too.

Seasonal activities

Season 22’s gameplay loop is as straightforward as it gets. There are no intermediate currencies to farm nor steps to complete. You can simply head to the Witch (Savathûn’s Spire and Altars of Summoning) activities playlist and start farming completions. And that’s it! You don’t need to farm Umbral energy or anything like that.

Pro tip: Having a Witch Key will reward you with more seasonal loot, including Witch weapons, when completing Season of the Witch activities.

Ritual Table, Destiny 2

Witch engrams

Completing Witch activities when possessing a Witch Key will reward you with Witch Engrams. These can be taken to the Ritual Table at the H.E.L.M. and focused into Witch weapons or Armor.

The cost to focus Witch engrams has been greatly reduced compared to previous seasons. You’ll simply require the following:

• 1 Witch Engram (or 4 if you want a specific weapon)
• 3,000 Glimmer
