The Bay of Drowned Wishes has Overload and Unstoppable Champions; therefore, we recommend a Solar or Stasis loadout:
- Riptide with Chill Clip to handle Overload Champions.
- A Solar Hand Cannon with Unstoppable Hand Cannon mod to deal with Unstoppable Champions.
- A Solar Rocket Launcher to take advantage of Solar Surge and to deal with Overload Champions thanks to the Overload Rocket Launcher mod.
- A Solar 3.0 or Stasis Loadout

Subclasses and Exotics
Due to the Solar and Stasis Surge, we recommend either a Solar or Stasis Loadout. Hunters can use a Celestial Nighthawk setup with Ember of Empyrean and Ember of Torches to stay alive or opt for our Touch of Duskfield build.
Warlocks can choose our Sun Wizard build to take advantage of Sunbracers or opt for a Stasis build to take full advantage of Ager’s Scepter’s high damage.
Titans can go for our Undying Flame build with Synthoceps or a Stasis build if you prefer to play it safe with Stasis Crystals. Generally, we would not opt for Stasis as Solar is so much stronger, but if you prefer Stasis, options are available.
Armor | Class | Type | Requirements | Source | Released | Requires | Exotic Perk |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Sunbracers | Warlock | Arms | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Exotic Perk: "Increases the duration of Solar Grenades. Solar melee kills grant unlimited Solar Grenade energy for a brief time." |
Celestial Nighthawk | Hunter | Helm | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Exotic Perk: "Modifies Golden Gun to fire a single high-damage shot. Enemies eliminated by the shot explode and grant you Super energy." |
Synthoceps | Titan | Arms | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Exotic Perk: "Increased melee lunge range. Improved melee and Super damage when you're surrounded." |
Requirements
Difficulty | Legend | Master |
Recommended Power | 1830 | 1840 |
Exotic armor (if solo) | Rare | Common |
Needless to say, these aren’t easy, and the least you should do is ensure you have a reasonable Power Level. By reasonable, we mean no less than 10 Power Levels below the recommended levels. If you struggle, work on increasing your Power Level as much as possible and focus on Legend Lost Sectors.
Bay of Drowned Wishes Destiny 2 Legend guide
As soon as you spawn in, a crowd of enemies will be in front of you, with a few Stalkers and Screebs. Take out the Screebs first, as their explosion will deal heavy damage or kill the remaining enemies. Once they are defeated, you will see an Unstoppable Champion in the distance. As you approach him, some more Screebs will spawn around the Champion. Stun the Unstoppable and dump a few Rockets into him. They will kill him and the surrounding Screebs.
As you progress further, Screens will continuously spawn, so be careful and take care of them whenever you see a group of them spawn. Make sure to deal with the explosive mines in the area, as they can do significant damage to you. Further up, there will be another Unstoppable Champion. Simply repeat the process of stunning him and dumping a couple of Rockets into him. He should die pretty quickly.
Once you have killed the second Unstoppable Champion, we recommend you stick to the path on the right, giving you a clear line of sight on the spawning minor enemies and the sniper in the distance. Make sure you take out the surrounding enemies and the sniper before attempting to kill the Overload Champion, as it will make your life much easier. Screens will continuously spawn while the Overload Champion is alive, but a couple of Rockets will do the trick against the Champion, allowing you to progress to the door. Waves of Screebs and an Unstoppable Champion will spawn, but your Hand Cannon can kill everything here easily.
Up next is the boss room. Ensure you destroy the mines on the ground, as they can be activated by enemy fire. The high ground you walk in on is excellent in this room and should be used to rain fire down at your enemies. Make sure you kill the Overload Champion last, as they will spawn many enemies when killed. Once this wave of enemies is defeated, the boss will spawn. A few Rockets and your Super should make short work of him. Once the boss is dead, you can collect your loot from the chest at the back of the room.
Lost Sector Rewards

Bay of Drowned Wishes Summary
Featuring an Arc Threat modifier, the Bay of Drowned Wishes Lost Sector features Void-shielded enemies, as well as Unstoppable and Overload Champions. Due to its length to complete and difficulty, this is an average Lost Sector to farm.
Disagree with the warlock loadout for this one. Had a WAY easier time running a stasis build, since my grenade turrets were able to handle all the screebs and were able to affect both champions present. Add in Ticcu’s Divination and it was pretty darn quick
