After many months of discussions, we can finally make it official:
BlueberriesGG has acquired DestinyPublicEvents.com.
For the OG guardians among you, Destiny Public Events was a popular tool that allowed you to track incoming Public Events in Destiny 1. It has its moments in the spotlight, for instance, when farming Public events was a valid method to grind your way to Max Light Level!
Destiny, and now Destiny 2, have come a long way since. Public Events have nowhere the place they used to have, but they are still part of the Patrol experience.
What next?
In all transparency, I do not have big plans for Destiny Public Events right now, unlike our other acquisition, for which I’m still actively looking for a dev. By the way, if you are a Guardian/dev looking for a cool/paid gig, hit me up!
DestinyPublicEvents.com is a little different. Given the current state of Public Events in Destiny 2, there isn’t much that can be done (other than explaining to Players how to turn them heroic!). But perhaps Into the Light will bring a much-needed shake-up to Public events, in which case we’ll have to reconsider what can be done!
