Hand Cannons have been one of the top options for PvE ever since their buffs in Season of the Witch. Naturally, this has generated a lot of buzz around certain Hand Cannons, but one has flown under the radar.
In this article, we will cover how you can get your hands on Eyasluna, its performance in the current meta, and the best perk combinations available for both PvE and PvP.

How to get Eyasluna
Eyasluna comes from the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon in the Cosmodrome. Unfortunately, Eyasluna is not craftable, meaning you’ll have to rely on some luck to get the perfect roll.
When Grasp of Avarice is the featured Dungeon, players can farm the Dungeon to try to get the weapon to drop. However, bear in mind that only the final boss has the potential to drop this Hand Cannon, meaning that you’ll want to just farm the boss rather than repeatedly completing the Dungeon from the start.
Thankfully, the final encounter is very fast and the boss is pretty easy to one phase with current damage strategies. We recommend players use Rocket Launchers, alongside general damage Supers like Golden Gun or Needlestorm, to get the one-phase. You can find the full Grasp of Avarice loot table here.

How good is Eyasluna
Eyasluna was a fan-favorite in Destiny 1, and with its favorable Adaptive weapon archetype and decent perk pool, this Stasis Hand Cannon is a solid option.
An issue that plagues all Hand Cannons in PvE is their lack of AoE (Area of Effect) damage, and Eyasluna is no exception, meaning that players may want to look for perks like Headstone to at least have some solid add-clear.
One problem that Eyasluna, in particular, has is that players can’t combine a damage perk with Headstone, meaning that the gun may feel weak in more challenging content. On top of this, the weapon simply isn’t Solar, meaning that it doesn’t synergize with Ember of Empyrean, one of the biggest reasons Solar is as strong as it is now. This means weapons like Sunshot, Epochal Integration, or Zaouli’s Bane might be preferred. Alternatively, options like Fatebringer feel more potent with perks like Frenzy.
Overall, Eyasluna is a solid weapon, but some other options outclass it. All in all, we consider Eyasluna B Tier (Average) for PvE and A Tier (Strong) for PvP.

Eyasluna God Roll and Perk Pool
Eyasluna can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Unrelenting, Rapid Hit, Heating Up, Outlaw, Perpetual Motion, and Rangefinder
- Perk 2: Headstone, Demolitionist, Moving Target, Kill Clip, Harmony, and Snapshot Sights
Eyasluna PvE god roll
- Barrel: Truesight HCS
- Magazine: High-Caliber Rounds
- Perk 1: Unrelenting or Rapid Hit
- Perk 2: Headstone or Demolitionist
- Masterwork: Handling
Weapon stats generally don’t mean too much in PvE, so opting for Truesight HCS is best, as it provides a slight stat boost to everything. High-Caliber Rounds flinch some minor enemies, giving the weapon more utility inside higher-end PvE.
Unrelenting provides additional survivability through healing, which might be valuable when pairing this weapon with a Stasis subclass. However, Rapid Hit also works fine. Headstone allows for synergy with Stasis and can also provide AoE damage. Additionally, Headstone will synergize with Unrelenting, making that combo very strong. Demolitionist is also solid for grenade-focused builds.
Eyasluna PvP god roll
- Barrel: HitMark HCS
- Magazine: High-Caliber Rounds or Ricochet Rounds
- Perk 1: Rangefinder or Perpetual Motion
- Perk 2: Moving Target or Kill Clip
- Masterwork: Range
Range is wanted on this weapon, but not at the cost of other stats like Stability. This makes HitMark HCS the best option for the barrel. Magazine can be High-Caliber Rounds for increased flinch or Ricochet Rounds for the bump to Stability.
Rangefinder or Perpetual Motion work as they are the best perk options in perk column 1, and Moving Target or Kill Clip can help with general dueling in 1v1 or 1v2 situations.
