Destiny 2 Eyasluna: God Rolls and How to get it

A great send-off for the fan favorite Hand Cannon. A solid all-rounder for both PvE and PvP, ‘Baby Hawkmoon’ as it’s fondly nicknamed, shines for both damage and utility, fitting into builds or just causing havoc in PvP. A joy to use from beginning to end.

How good is Eyasluna

Eyasluna got the memo when it comes to having a grand send-off. Its updates provide utility, allowing it to fit into a powerful build or just brute strength for those who just love to use it. Eyasluna is a fantastic Hand Cannon and iconic to many Guardians out there. 

PvE leans hard into Stasis, and that’s where the best will come out for this god roll. The addition of Chaos Reshaped means it has a place in upper-tier activities, as giving this already powerful gun a 35 percent passive damage buff is no laughing matter for our enemies.

PvP does it all, feels great, hits hard, and can tear through teams like a hot knife through butter when hitting those headshots. Max Range is achievable, and it feels great in play.  Eyasluna is A-Tier for PvE and S-Tier for PvP.

Eyalsuna, as a top-tier PvE weapon, will seem strange to veterans who know it as a PvP weapon, but this god roll has all the tools to do a job across PvE.

Start with Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell. This adds Handling to help keep the snappy feel when running and gunning, and a good boost to Reload Speed to help keep the chambers filled for the next encounter.r

Firefly arrives to bring the explosions on headshot kills, and this pairs excellently with Crystallised Corpsebloom, which creates large Stasis crystals after a kill. The two perks can interact, destroying the crystal as it spawns, which fits with any Stasis focus in your build and can wipe out onrushing enemies with joint blasts from Firefly or the shatter of the crystal.

Headstone is an effective alternative, and Chaos Reshaped is available for a pure damage angle, should it be needed.

The PvP god roll is where most Guardians will have interest in this new Eyasluna, and we are happy to report that it does not disappoint.

Focusing on Range and then effectiveness in a gunfight, start with Hammer-Forged Rifling and the Range Masterwork for a flat +20. High-Caliber Rounds come in for the added Flinch and another Range bump. This is due to max Range being hit from its first perk in Slideshot, or you can opt for Rangefinder for the enhanced zoom, but it will slightly miss that max stat. This is negligible for some Guardians; it depends on preference when Aiming Down Sight.

Precision Instrument takes the final slot for adding a damage boost for each shot hit. At max stacks of 6, this can reach 30% if you continue landing accurate shots. Melting your opponents with ease when rolling

How to get Eyasluna

Eyasluna comes from the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon in the Cosmodrome. Bear in mind that only the final boss has the potential to drop this Hand Cannon, meaning that you’ll want to just farm the boss rather than repeatedly completing the Dungeon from the start.
