Destiny 2 Shattered Throne Loot table: Weapons & Armor

by | Mar 26, 2024

Many Guardians prefer to ignore the Shattered Throne because it doesn’t feature exclusive weapons or armor. Indeed, It offers the same gear that you can find elsewhere in the Dreaming City.

Still, this dungeon has a lot to offer. First, it drops a Pinnacle reward upon completion, and more importantly, it drops some of the best high-stat armor in the entire game. This guide covers the entire Shattered Throne loot table and tells you how to farm its high-stat armor.

Destiny 2 Shattered Throne weapons

The main complaint with the Shattered Throne is that most of its weapons can be acquired elsewhere in the Dreaming City, except the Wish-Ender Exotic:

Shattered Throne Exotic

The Wish-Ender Exotic combat bow can be acquired as part of an Exotic quest. However, as said quest culminates within the Shattered Throne dungeon, Wish-Ender is technically a dungeon weapon, too.

Wish-Ender

The Wish-Ender Solar Exotic machine gun features the following perks:

  • Queen’s Wrath: While aiming down sights with a fully drawn Bow, combatants behind walls are highlighted and arrows pierce shields. Strong against [Shield-Piercing] Barrier Champions.
  • Broadhead: Piercing arrowhead that damages the target on entry and exit. One shot can overpenetrate multiple targets.

We cover How to get the Wish-Ender in detail here.

Shattered Throne Dungeon Armor

Unlike every other dungeon in Destiny 2 that offers a unique and exclusive Armor set as a reward, the Shattered Throne drops the standard armor sets from the Dreaming City: the Revelrie Dawn sets.

To be fair, while the Revelrie Dawn set is not exclusive to this dungeon, the versions that the Shattered Throne offers have extremely high stats. And now that transmog is a thing; many will argue that finding high-stat gear is more important than finding new sets…

Is the Shattered Throne dungeon farmable?

Whenever the Shattered Throne is the featured dungeon of the week, it can be farmed for unlimited loot. All you’ll need is a committed Fireteam and a couple of hours ahead of you.

This is how you’ll be able to farm the Shattered Throne dungeon:

  1. Go through the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
  2. Start the encounter and wipe (i.e., die without beating it).
  3. Ask your Fireteam to wait. Change characters and log into a character that hasn’t run the dungeon that week.
  4. On that second character, join your Fireteam again.
  5. Wipe again. Now your second character has the proper checkpoint.

And that’s it. You’ll then be able to farm that encounter ad nauseam until reset! To continue farming, you’ll need to:

  1. Launch the dungeon using your second character (the one that is holding the checkpoint).
  2. Change characters and rejoin your Fireteam on your first character.
  3. Complete the encounter for loot.
  4. Exit the dungeon, switch characters again, and repeat Step 1.

Before you leave…

Are you looking forward to farming more top-tier loot from Destiny 2’s endgame activities? Next week, you’ll be able to farm Prophecy Loot (the next featured Dungeon in the rotation).
