How to get Cataphract GL3 this Season
To get Cataphract, you’ll have to hop into Trials of Osiris. The best way to get it is to obtain the Cataphract on the reward track at Saint-14. Once you obtain this, you can focus your Trials Engrams into the Grenade Launcher.

How good is Cataphract GL3
Grenade Launchers aren’t exactly the go-to pick for boss damage as their DPS (damage-per-second) is lower than top tier Rocket Launchers such as Apex Predator or Cold Comfort. However, Cataphract has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that no other Grenade Launcher has.
This GL has access to the buffed Envious Assassin and the potent Bait and Switch, making it a top option for burst DPS.

In perk slot 1, Envious Assassin is the best choice. However, players should pay attention to Auto-Loading Holster in a DPS swap-rotation loadout. In perk slot 2, Bait and Switch is the best choice as it is a 35% increase to your weapon damage, but if you get unlucky, Explosive Light isn’t an unusable alternative either.
