With Update 7.3.5, the Prophecy dungeon received its most expansive loot refresh to date. From a new origin trait to returning weapons to updated perk pools, Prophecy has a host of new goodies for players to obtain. Today, we’ll cover one of three weapons reissued with this refresh: the Adjudicator submachine gun.

How to get the Adjudicator
Adjudicator is a reissued Trials of the Nine weapon that now drops from the free-to-play Prophecy dungeon. The weapon is available through The Cube (Tetrahedron) encounter and can also drop from the two secret chests located inside the dungeon after being obtained once before.
You can find the entire Prophecy loot table here.
How good is Adjudicator
Now that it has been infused with a host of new and exciting perks, Adjudicator seems to have tons of potential for both PvE and PvP.
Beginning on the PvE side of things, Adjudicator makes up for its lack of elemental affinity with a suite of powerful damage perks that synergize perfectly with the Crossing Over origin trait. While competitors will continue their dominance in most of the game through buildcrafting opportunities, it’s hard to argue against this weapon’s raw power.
As for The Crucible, Adjudicator has struggled to find its footing out of the gate due to a significant nerf to Target Lock. However, the weapon is still a potent choice for SMG enthusiasts and casual players alike.
Because of its general strength and unique rolls, Adjudicator is an A-Tier weapon in both PvE and PvP.

Adjudicator God Rolls and Perk Pool
The Adjudicator submachine gun can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Dynamic Sway Reduction, Feeding Frenzy, Perpetual Motion, Rangefinder, Subsistence, Threat Detector
- Perk 2: Fragile Focus, Frenzy, Kinetic Tremors, Onslaught, Rampage, Target Lock
- Origin Trait: Crossing Over
Adjudicator PvE god roll
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Magazine: Flared Magwell
- Perk 1: Subsistence (also good: Feeding Frenzy)
- Perk 2: Onslaught (also good: Rampage)
- Masterwork: Range
To build this weapon for PvE, we’ll begin by prioritizing range and reload speed through Hammer-Forged Rifling, Flared Magwell, and a range masterwork.
In combination with the Crossing Over origin trait, Subsistence, and Onslaught make for a powerful duo that can easily mow down entire waves of enemies. The only downside here is that sometimes Subsistence doesn’t refund enough ammo for the synergy to properly work; in this case, opting for Feeding Frenzy (or even Threat Detector) in the first column might be more worthwhile.
Adjudicator PvP god roll
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Perk 1: Threat Detector (also good: Perpetual Motion)
- Perk 2: Fragile Focus
- Masterwork: Range
Because of Target Lock’s recent nerf, Adjudicator’s god roll for The Crucible is relatively one-dimensional.
We’ll start very similarly to PvE with Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, and a range masterwork. For main perks, our two picks are Threat Detector and Fragile Focus, both simply increasing the weapon’s stat package further. While this setup isn’t flashy and doesn’t offer quicker kills, the consistency it provides allows it to compete with community favorites.
