Destiny 2 Presage Exotic Mission: Loot Table

You can now relive some of the best PvE content Destiny 2 has to offer, thanks to the Exotic Mission Rotator. This new system brings back beloved missions from past seasons while also sprucing them up with some enticing loot.

This guide covers Presage’s loot table and rotation, including the Dead Man’s Tale Exotic (Scout Rifle).

Presage Rotation: Episode 1

The Exotic Mission Rotator features five missions, including Presage, which change weekly at reset.

Presage Loot Pool & Rewards

Presage offers several rewards, including a craftable version of Dead Man’s Tale (Scout Rifle), the armor set, and craftable weapons from Season of the Haunted (S17). We cover the most sought-after Dead Man’s Tale God Rolls here.

Exotic Catalyst and Intrinsic Upgrades

Presage uses the same reward structure as the other Exotic Missions on rotation:

• The first completion of the mission on Standard or Expert difficulty will award the Exotic Deepsight weapon associated with the mission.
• Each weekly completion of the Exotic mission (any difficulty) will award an intrinsic upgrade that can be used when crafting the Exotic weapon.
• Each completion of the Expert version of the Exotic mission will award a Catalyst upgrade for the crafted Exotic weapon.
• Weekly mission rewards:
  • One guaranteed Deepsight weapon that has not had its pattern unlocked and one armor piece that has not already been obtained.
  • On every completion, you will receive an additional weapon from the mission’s weapon pool. However, this weapon will have no knockout or guaranteed Deepsight behavior.

Note that Exotic Missions feature two difficulties, Standard and Expert, and each has separate weekly reward lockouts.

About Presage

First released with Season of the Chosen in early 2021, Presage is the closest thing to a horror experience you’ll get in Destiny 2. Here, you’ll explore a seemingly abandoned Cabal ship filled to the brim with Scorn forces.

The normal difficulty variant of this mission isn’t timed, so explore to your heart’s content! It’s one of the most immersive spaces the Destiny franchise has to offer. Presage also has a lot of significance from a lore perspective, as it gave us the first hints that Calus would be back.

What is the Exotic Mission Rotator?

Over the years, Bungie has added missions that carry specific exotic weapon rewards to Destiny 2. These typically are kept a secret until they’re discovered by the community in-game, making for a day almost as exciting as the release of a new raid.

The exotic mission rotator, new for Season 22, takes some of these missions from past years and puts them into a playlist. This playlist features one mission per week, granting unique rewards that reset every Tuesday.
