Destiny 2 Season 17 Weapons: How to get Haunted gear today

Season of the Haunted weapons were virtually unavailable until a few months ago. With the introduction of the Exotic Quest Rotator, both Haunted and Opulent weapons can be acquired once more.

This guide covers all the weapons from Season 17 that are available today, including the top-tier Opulent weapons reprised from the Menagerie.

🛑 These rewards require ownership of Beyond Light DLC or Season of the Chosen.

These are the different Tier levels used for this ranking:

• S Tier – Best: Highest ranking weapon types.
• A Tier – Strong: Very strong weapon types, but not on the same level as S Tier Choices.
• B Tier – Average: Decent choices that can be lethal in the hands of a skilled player.
• C Tier – Weak: The middle of the pack, somewhat mediocre.
• D Tier – Worst: Lagging behind the competition, these don’t have much to offer.

How to get Season 17 weapons today

While Season of the Haunted (S17) rewards were previously obtainable through Umbral Engrams and Season 17 activities (Sever missions and Nightmare Containments), these days, they can all be farmed by completing the Presage Exotic mission (whenever it is in rotation).

Each Exotic Mission, including Presage, offers several rewards, including an Exotic weapon, several Legendary weapons, and one armor set. And to make their rewards even more appealing, all weapons are craftable:

• First completion of the mission on Normal or Legendary difficulty will award the Exotic Deepsight weapon associated with the mission.
• Each completion of the Normal or Legendary version of the Exotic mission will award an intrinsic upgrade that can be used when crafting the Exotic weapon.
• Each completion of the Legendary version of the Exotic mission will award a Catalyst upgrade for the crafted Exotic weapon.
