The systematic removal of seasonal content, including missions, activities, and gear, is perhaps the most criticized part of Destiny 2. Bungie has confessed that their FOMO approach to seasonal content had gone too far and promises to improve the seasonal experience continuously.
With Season of the Witch (S22), Bungie is taking another step in the right direction with the return of gear and armor from previous Season Passes, including the armor sets from Season of the Worthy.
How to get the Valkyrian armor this season
The armor sets are available for purchase on the Eververse store on weeks 4, 5, and 6. Sadly, the armor sets are not available for Bright Dust and cost a whopping 1,500 Silver.

Valkyrian Ornaments: Season of the Worthy
Up until now, armor sets from the Season Pass would become unavailable to new players as soon as the season ended. This meant that if you missed a season, there was no way to acquire that season’s armor sets.

This was the case for Season of the Worthy’s premium armor, the Valkyrian Ornament set:

But on August 24, 2023, Bungie confirmed that gear from previous Season Passes will return to the game. And they are starting this season with Season of the Worthy gear, including the Valkyrian ornaments:
Later in Season of the Witch, we’re planning on bringing back a selection of cosmetic items from previous Season Passes to the Eververse, for players who missed out on acquiring them. We’ll be starting with a handful of items from Season of the Worthy.
This nostalgic throwback, which we’re calling Seasonal Flashbacks, will only be available during weeks 4, 5, and 6. In the future, other Seasonal items may return. More info on future offerings at a later date.
I think the idea to bring back gear from previous seasons was great. It helps combat FOMO and bring loot from the past back to the forefront. However, making this available for Silver only does leave a bad taste. As pointed out by several users on Twitter, acquiring all Season of the Worthy items today will cost you roughly $90 compared to the $10 they initially cost as part of the Season of the Worthy Season Pass…
