How good is Unfall
Like all rocket sidearms, Unfall is a powerful weapon in anyone’s hands. Its counterpart is Indebted Kindness, the first of its kind, and mirrors it almost perfectly. While Voltshot is great when facing foes weak enough to fall in a few shots, Jolting Feedback almost guarantees activation on majors and above, and minors if under level. This is the real strength of Unfall, as otherwise, it is just another rocket sidearm. It also has One-for-All or Master of Arms if damage is more your speed.
Unfall also has the second-highest base reload speed out of all rocket sidearms, 38 to be exact, though it’s still leaps and bounds behind Lotus-Eater’s stat of 55. This is perfect as you don’t need to put too much stake into making those reloads faster, letting Tactical and Extended Mag have more viability. Unfall is A-Tier for PvE and D-tier for PvP.

Unfall Perks and God Rolls
The Unfall Arc rocket sidearm can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Disruption Break, Beacon Rounds, Sleight of Hand, Lead from Gold, Impulse Amplifier, Reverberation.
- Perk 2: Master of Arms, Binary Orbit, One-for-All, Deconstruct, Jolting Feedback, Rolling Storm.
- Origin Trait: Vanguard Determination.
Unfall PvE god rolls
| PvE Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Quick Launch |
| Magazine | Tactical Mag |
| Perk 1 | Impulse Amplifier or Lead from Gold |
| Perk 2 | Jolting Feedback or One-for-All |
| Masterwork | Velocity |
As is tradition with rocket sidearms, you’ll want a good balance of blast radius and velocity, so Quick Launch does us well as it gives us a good boost without hitting other stats. Tactical Mag gives an extra three rounds, and with the high base reload, opt for a velocity Masterwork.
For Perk 1, it’s a close call between Impulse Amplifier and Lead from Gold. Impulse Amplifier’s velocity bonus can help hit long range targets, and Lead from Gold helps keep your ammo topped off. Perk 2 will be either Jolting Feedback or One-for-All. Jolting Feedback makes it much easier to jolt more powerful combatants, and One-for-All is a solid damage boost that takes little effort thanks to the splash damage of the weapon.
Unfall PvP god rolls
With a weak archetype for PvP and a complete lack of perks strong enough to make it relevant for the Crucible, Unfall is absolutely not worth chasing for PvP.
