How good is Accelerando-42
A potential successor to the Guardian Favorite, Scatter Signal, the Accelerando-42 is an excellent all-around Fusion Rifle for PvE and PvP. Its Precision Frame also means it sits in good company with another favorite from days past, PLUG ONE.1.
The special thing about this Fusion Rifle is that it is packing so much heat. Damage perks, utility perks, and combinations for any Guardian to enjoy, whether it be to enhance a build or look for pure power across any game mode. Combinations to choose from don’t really pull away from its prowess when it comes to taking down enemies of the Last City and fitting this into your build.
When landing Tier 5s, the perks can be easily interchangeable with PvP on the right rolls, where it remains a strong choice for any team in the Crucible. Accelerando-42 is S-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

PvE is where Accelerando-42 will shine, and taking advantage of the damage possibilities is where these god roll points are.
Start with Arrowhead Brake for exceptional Recoil control. Keeping bolts on target is
important to this weapon type for consistency. Enhanced Battery adds rounds to the magazine and adds Reload Speed to get Guardians back in the fight quickly after unloading.
The combination of Overflow and Aggregate Charge is an exciting one. Apply 3 elemental debuffs to a target to activate a 33 percent damage increase. With Overflow included, every single blast will add that 33 percent at full power. This has the potential to take chunks from bosses and melt everything else in its path
Slice is an excellent paired choice for more difficult activities, causing a debuff to incoming damage of 40 percent while applied to your foes, helping keep you alive for more rounds of damage.

Holding some exceptional PvP perks, we may see a resurgence in Fusion Rifle usage once Guardians get more hands-on with the Accelerando-42
Arrowhead Brake starts the roll off for its Recoil control, helping keep bolts focused upon targets for each blast. Projection Fuse then comes in to increase its effective Range, leaving enemies with no escape from its bolts
The main perks combine Slideways and Kickstart to ensure great results when utilising slides. A short sprint and slide will decrease Charge Time by 20 percent while increasing Stability, Handling, and reloading the mag if there’s enough in reserves. This full roll combines for great stats and lethal bursts in each shot.
If you don’t want to focus on the sliding aggressive playstyle, Lone Wolf and Rangefinder have got you covered for effective shots at range.
