The Dawning schedule
The Dawning returns to Destiny 2 on December 12, 2023, and will be available to all players until January 3, 2024.

2023 Dawning armor sets
This year, this Winter’s Dawning event features the following armor sets for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans:
Dawning Armor 2023, Destiny 2
For the record, this is not an armor set but an ornament. This means it won’t feature an intrinsic perk like the Iron Banner sets do. However, as an ornament, you’ll be able to use it on your current armor without having to spend Synthweave.
How to get the Dawning armor set: Bight Dust
Unlike armor sets that drop from specific activities, Dawning ornaments can only be purchased at the Eververse store with either Silver or Bright Dust.
- Each set costs 6,000 Bright Dust (which is the same for all seasonal events).
If you play your cards right and have enough Bright Dust saved up, you can get any Dawning ornament for free. But if you are currently low on Bright Dust, prioritize completing all the weekly Dawning bounties available at Eva Levante’s. These become available as soon as the event starts.

How to enter the Dawning 2023 event
To enter the Dawning event, you must visit Eva Levante at the Tower once the event becomes available. She will provide you with a quest and any other item you may require.
