This year, Guardian Games features the following armor sets:

For the record, this is not an armor set but an ornament. This means it doesn’t feature an intrinsic perk like the Iron Banner sets do. However, as an ornament, you’ll be able to use it on your current armor without needing transmog.

How to get the Guardian Games armor set: Bight Dust

Guardian Games ornaments can only be purchased at the Eververse store with either Silver or Bright Dust.

  • Each set costs 6,000 Bright Dust (the same cost as for seasonal-themed armor)

If you play your cards right and have enough Bright Dust saved up, you can get any Guardian Games ornament for free. If you are currently very low on Bright Dust, prioritize completing all the weekly Guardian Games bounties from Eva Levante.

What is Guardian Games?

Guardian Games is a yearly event that is open to all players. It pits every class against each other, but only one class can emerge victorious. Featuring exclusive mechanics and a brand-new game mode, Guardian Games 2025 will be a big one. This time around, Guardian Games will feature a new boss rush activity called Rushdown.

Rushdown is a boss rush-style activity where you’ll battle a series of bosses taken from Destiny 2’s campaigns, Seasonal story missions, and Exotic missions. With each boss encounter defeated, combatants in the activity increase in difficulty.

To enter the event, visit Eva Levante in the Tower to grab the intro Best In Show intro quest. At that point, she’ll give you the Guardian Games class item required to earn medallions.

Before you go…

Guardian Games is one of the four yearly events in Destiny 2, alongside the Dawning, Solstice, and Festival of the Lost. If you’re interested in top-tier armor, these events are a must.
