Released with the Renegades DLC, Triple Laureate is a 
Statis Hand Cannon that can be farmed by participating in the Guardian Games 2026. Triple Laureate is a great reason to dive into Guardian Games as it is arguably the best of the Spread Shot Hand Cannons so far. How good is Triple Laureate
Triple Laureate finds itself in the unique position of being the only Stasis Spreadshot Hand Cannon currently obtainable. It also carries unique combinations that set it apart from the other weapons of the same type. For PvE, the most noticeable omission is Chill Clip, but it carries all the perks worth chasing for this weapon type. The most exciting to see is Chaos Reshaped, which rewards being in combat with a significant damage increase, and with this weapon designed for close combat, it’s great to have in the locker.
It sits in the Kinetic Slo,t which means its competition is another hot weapon in the Aureus Neutrazlier. Triple Laureate’s stats seem to give it the edge in PvP with a sizable Range stat at its base and enhancing perks such as Opening Shot and Slideshot to make it a real handful in the Crucible. Triple Laureate is A-Tier for PvE and A-Tier-tier for PvP.

Start with Smallbore for Range and Stability, ty and then add extra Stability and Reload Speed from Flared Magwell to ensure Triple Laureate is easy to keep on target and reloads sharply to keep your Guardian doing chunks of damage with this weapon.
The main perk combination of Crystalline Corpsebloom and Chaos Reshaped is only found on this weapon, which is its main draw. It will also help it slot nicely with Stasis buffs and builds to great effect. Crystalline Corpsebloom grants a chance for a Stasis crystal to spawn when defeating an enemy. These can be destroyed to cause extra damage or be used for cover if in a tight spot. Chaos Reshaped is the biggest pull here as it can activate when this weapon is stowed, reaches a damage buff of 35% if in battle for longer than 22 seconds, and when hitting this, it will also heal your character in bursts. This makes this weapon perfect for any level of content.

The combination of Smoothbore and Accurized Rounds grants a significant boost to Range, which is exceptional for catching foes off guard to take them down from a safe distance.
Slideshot then comes in for the first perk, granting a further boost to Range upon sliding, and this pairs perfectly with Opening Shot for a maximum Range burst on the first trigger pull. Playing fast and aggressively will benefit this weapon the most, using your slide to quickly get the drop on opponents and either finishing them in melee or quickly switching to clean them up at low health.
Rangefinder is a good alternative for a more passive Range boost, and Master of Arms can be activated by other weapons, so a quick swap to Triple Laureate can bring a 25 percent damage boost when rolling at x2.

You’re correct, the weapon was changed between what the API was showing just before Guardian Games and what it ended up being (sometimes perks are changed last minute).
