How good is Keraunios
A single look at the perk pool will show that Keraunios is definitely a weapon geared towards PvE rather than PvP. While it’s a decent option, it doesn’t beat some top contenders, like Unsworn or Chronophage.
Keraunios has a few options you can choose from, particularly in the second column. Detonator Beam is a strong general option, but you can also go for Arc-focused traits such as Rolling Storm or Jolting Feedback.
In PvP, there are only a few perks that are really viable. Closing Time is a very strong option on Special weapons and can massively boost the range of Keraunios. Keraunios is A-Tier for PvE and B-tier for PvP.

To improve the feel of Keraunios, we recommend Fluted Barrel, Light Battery, and a Handling Masterwork, boosting the Handling to 84.
For perk slot one, Recycled Energy is the more standard pick, but Triple Tap has a lot of value, particularly for players who enjoy using Trace Rifles in a double-special ammo loadout as it provides some ammo back. In perk slot two, you have a ton of options, but we recommend one of Jolting Feedback, Detonator Beam, or Rolling Storm, all of which improve the lethality of the weapon.

To help with the weapon’s feel, we are opting to boost Stability here, so Smallbore, Tactical Battery, and a Range Masterwork. With these picks, we get to improve our Range to 90 while having Stability sit at a comfy 87.
For perk 1, Dynamic Sway Reduction is our winner, as it increases the Stability to 97 at maximum strength while boosting accuracy. For perk slot 2, we recommend Closing Time as it not only pairs well with Dynamic Sway Reduction but is also a very strong perk at the moment.

Keraunios is a Guardian Games weapon. This means it can be found through all Guardian Games weapons sources, such as the upcoming Rushdown game mode or any other objectives throughout the event.
