How good is Redrix’s Estoc
Redrix’s Estoc is currently the most popular and strongest primary ammo weapon in PvP at the moment. In the opening weeks of Heresy, Redrix’s Estoc has managed to top the Trials of Osiris kill trackers, with the opening week of reworked Trials seeing over 4 million Redrix’s Estoc kills.
This weapon is so potent because of the combination of perks available, as well as an incredibly easy-to-use Legacy PR-55 Frame, which grants incredible hip-fire and a very nice scope. This makes this weapon so versatile for both long and close-range combat.
In PvE, Redrix’s Estoc is a standard Stasis Pulse, coming with the expected perks like Rimestealer and Headstone, but it isn’t anything too special. Redrix’s Estoc is B-Tier for PvE and S+ Tier for PvP.

In PvE, quality-of-life is usually ideal, so we opt for some Handling and Reload boosting perks like Corkscrew rifling, Flared Magwell, and Short-Action Stock. However, to give the Range a slight boost, we will opt for a Range masterwork.
In perk slot 1, Rimestealer and Demolitionist are the clear winners. Personal preference will apply, with Rimestealer being good for Stasis builds and Demolitionist being a solid option overall. For perk 2, Headstone provides some good Stasis synergy and AoE damage, but Desperate Measures is a solid damage perk that synergises with Demolitionist.

Perk 1 | Lone Wolf or Zen Moment |
Perk 2 | Headseeker or Kill Clip |
Stock | Fitted Stock |
Masterwork | Range |
Redrix’s Estoc has such high base stats, meaning we can choose to aim to boost Range massively, so we opt for Corkscrew Rifling, Accurised Rounds, and a Range Masterwork, getting us up to 85 Range with a Ballsitcs Mod applied. We also recommend Fitted Stock for a boost to Stability and Recoil Direction.
In perk slot 1, consistency is king, so Zen Moment or Lone Wolf is best. In perk 2, Headseeker or Kill Clip is recommended. Headseeker gives you some leniency in your aim, but Kill Clip drops the time-to-kill to 0.53s. We suggest Kill Clip for 6v6 games and Headseeker for more competitive settings like Trials of Osiris.
