An exceptional damage dealer in PvE and carrying desirable PvP perks, these Rapid Growth god rolls should be high on the list of weapons to chase down following the release of Monument of Triumph. 

This weapon should be built with damage in mind and with perks that can actively fill the Magazine; it ensures Rapid Growth can consistently deal big hits to even the toughest foes. Even leaning into its Arc perks can be a good option for an Arc build and doing something different with a Sniper Rifle. 

For PvP, Rapid Growth carries reasonable stats and desirable perks, with Snapshot pairing up extremely well with Closing Time or even a left-field choice with Binary Orbit to increase body shot damage when holding down a lane or zone. Rapid Growth is S-Tier for PvE and B-Tier for PvP.

Rapid Growth is an exceptional Sniper Rifle when it comes to damage, and this god roll shows exactly how to get there.

Start by focusing on controlling Recoil and Stability with Arrowhead Brake and Tactical Mag. The combination of the two keeps the recoil pattern vertical, making follow-up shots easier to handle, and the Stability ensures much less ‘kick’ between each shot. As Rapid Growth fires relatively quickly, both are essential to get the best out of it.

Fourth Time’s the Charm comes in here to return shots to the magazine as a reward for landing precision hits; this ensures there is no let-up during your damage phase. Aggregate Charge then adds the power as a reward for elemental debuffs applied to the target. 3 debuffs take us to 33 percent, which will take significant chunks from even the toughest foes.

Rapid Growth can flex its muscles in PvP, should the time come, with desirable perks to get the best out of it.

Arrowhead Brake ensures the best possible recoil control, while Steady Rounds provides a significant boost to Stability. This helps reduce flinch and bring the reticle back to center on your target after each shot.

Snapshot Sights provides almost instant Aim Down Sights speed with its boost when looking to engage with your next fight, and Closing Time offers bonuses to Range, Handling, and an increase in Accuracy as the magazine gets lower. As your magazine doesn’t start full in the Crucible, this buff is almost always active as you look to take off your opponents’ heads to win the round.

How to get Rapid Growth

Rapid Growth was supposed to be the newest Solstice weapon. But since Seasonal events are no more, Bungie has provided a permanent way to acquire past Seasonal exclusives: the Tenet of Bravery monument at the Tower.
