Focusing on a single weapon archetype, Arms Week is a one-week event returning for the first time this year. This time around, the featured weapon archetype is Combat Bows. This guide covers how the event works, what it has to offer, and how to best farm its currency!

Reissued Arms Week weapons
You can focus these weapons at Ada’s Workbench for:
- 1 Arms Week Event Weapons Engram
- 25 Combat Telemetry for a reissued weapon (or 35 for Gizmo Weft)
How to get Combat Telemetry
Combat Telemetry is the main currency you’ll need to farm as many weapons as possible. To earn as much Combat Telemetry, this is everything you need to know:
- Complete the three Initial Calibration quests (Prototype Tuning) as soon as possible for 60 Combat Telemetry in total
- Complete all Daily Challenges for 10 Combat Telemetry each
- Complete the Weekly Challenge for 90 Combat Telemetry
- Complete whatever Portal activity you want for additional Combat Telemetry
To complete the three initial quests as soon as possible, just equip your favorite bow and slay in any Portal activity you want!
Volatile Weapon Mods
The event also features three brand-new Exotic Volatile Weapon Mods. Available for the duration of the event, Volatile Weapon Mods can only be slotted into the featured weapon type (this works with any Legendary bow, old and new):
- TUNGSTEN BOWSTRING: Deals increased damage, at the cost of draw time and handling. Releases an elemental explosion matching this weapon when fully drawn. Kinetic weapons release a burst matching your equipped Super.
- JUMPSHOT: Drawing this weapon while in midair triggers increased damage, faster draw time, improved target acquisition, and dramatically faster movement speed for a short time or until you touch the ground. This effect is activated once per jump and becomes available again after a moment on the ground.
- SHATTERSHAFTS: Arrows and bolts split into several projectiles after a short distance.
To obtain them, you must complete three separate quests that you can acquire from Ada-1. The quests are extremely simple (get kills with hand cannons) and can be completed in less than an hour.
What is Arms Week
Arms Week is a one-week duration event focusing on a single weapon archetype, this time: Combat Bows. As explained on the most recent TWID, this is how the event works:
- Visit Ada-1 at the Shooting Range (which you can launch via the Tower map)
- Ada-1 will give you a quest that kicks off the Arms Week event
- Run activities using Hand Cannons to gather combat telemetry
- Earn rewards, such as weapons, Volatile Mods, etc (more on that below)
Arms Week Challenges
Arms Week will offer several Daily and Weekly Challenges that will grant you progress towards the Event Track, which will offer several rewards, including currencies, Holofoil weapons, and Event Tokens. To find the active Daily and Weekly challenge for your character, you’ll need to open the dedicated Event Home.
When is Arms Week coming back?
Arms Week will probably return before the next mid-season Update arrives. We will confirm this as soon as we know more.

You might need to update the date for Arms Week start and finish because it is a whole week off.
Whats the point. Voli mods last for the week. Literally no point in farming for something that lasts 7 days. The marketing team at bungo have no clue
