Solipsism God Rolls: Warlock Exotic Class Item

by | Aug 25, 2024

Most exotics available in Destiny 2 share one similarity: they come with a set selection of perks. However, some more recent additions have challenged this norm, and we finally have armor that breaks the mold, too: three new exotic class items.

In the case of Warlock, this is Solipsism, an exotic bond that rolls with two random toned-down exotic perks.

How good is Solipsism

The first thing to note about Solipsism and the other exotic class items is that they only work with a Prismatic subclass equipped. In this sense, their range of use is slightly limited compared to what you’d first expect.

Even so, Solipsism has already proven to be an outstanding pick for various Prismatic builds. While some do require synergies that are already well-established (Getaway Artist, Osmiomancy Gloves, etc.), Solipsism proves to be potent in any situation that doesn’t rely on another exotic already.

Solipsism Perks and God Rolls

Solipsism can roll with the following Exotic perks:

Some of the Best Rolls for Solipsism

Solipsism God Rolls, Destiny 2

Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirit of Verity

Combining the effects of Heart of Inmost Light and Verity’s Brow, this roll is easily the strongest for general gameplay and can complement any build or loadout you pair it with. With both enhanced ability regeneration and bonus grenade damage, this roll could even be considered a build simply on its own.

Spirit of the Assassin and Spirit of the Synthoceps

While slightly more niche in its use cases, this roll is outstanding when paired with a melee-focused build. Karnstein Armlets do give this combination a run for its money, but there’s definitely room for both to shine in today’s meta.

Spirit of Apotheosis and Spirit of the Star-Eater

This final roll is primarily meant for boss damage scenarios. Spirit of the Star-Eater offers increased Super damage, which can then be followed by Spirit of Apotheosis’ increased ability regeneration after using your Super.

How to get Solipsism

To get Solipsism (or any other exotic class item), you must first complete the Dual Destiny mission in the Pale Heart destination.

Dual Destiny Mission

This mission forces you to be in a fireteam of two (going in solo or as a trio will not work), and it’s the only way to obtain your first class item. Finding a friend or teammate on LFG for one run isn’t too hard, nor does it require you to enter a voice chat.

After obtaining your first Solipsism from Dual Destiny, additional exotic class items can be farmed in various ways.

1 – Weekly Dual Destiny: Replaying the activity will grant another class item each run. Additionally, a weekly challenge (viewable from the Pale Heart map) will grant an additional class item once per week, giving you two for your first run each reset.

2 – Overthrow Chests: The second method of farming Solipsism is participating in Overthrow in the Pale Heart. While generic world chests don’t contribute to it, opening Overthrow chests grants an increasing probability of receiving a class item, granting more with higher chest tiers.

3 – Buy it from Xur: The final way of obtaining Exotic class items was added with Update 8.5.0.2. Xur now (sometimes) sells randomly rolled exotic class items for 41 Strange Coins each. You can purchase as many class items as you’d like, assuming you have the Strange Coins.

🚨 The only requirement is to have unlocked the regular acquisition path through the Dual Destiny mission for each character/class.
