Once a menace in the Crucible, The Wizened Rebuke may feel reigned in somewhat. Hard-hitting and with a lot to love with its powerful perks, there’s not much more you can ask for. Held back by its frame, but these god rolls still get the job done.

How good is The Wizened Rebuke

The Wizened Rebuke had a period of Crucible dominance many seasons ago. While that carnage may have ended, its spirit lives on with this new and improved refreshed version.

In PvE, it never really had much going for it,t but with the addition of Overflow and Controlled Burst,rst or even backed up with Reservoir Burst, it does give this weapon more of a handle on taking on enemies of the Traveler. Its frame holds it back with it being on the slower end of charge, but focusing on reducing that can bring its potency to the forefront. 

PvP this weapon holds all the cards to make an amazing god roll. Only held back by the current sandbox meta, Guardians who get to grips with its strengths have a solid weapon on their hands. The Wizened Rebuke is B-Tier for PvE and B-Tier for PvP.

The Wizened Rebuke Perks and God Rolls

The Wizened Rebuke is an Arc Fusion Rifle that can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Iron Grip, Under Pressure, Offhand Strike, Lonewolf, Rangefinder, Discord, Overflow.
• Perk 2: Backup Plan, Successful Warm-Up, High-Impact Reserves, Voltshot, Closing Time, Controlled Burst, Reservoir Burst.
• Origin Trait: Skulking Wolf.

The Wizened Rebuke PvE god roll

PvE Roll: All-Around
Barrel	Arrowhead Brake
Battery	Accelerated Coils
Perk 1	Overflow
Perk 2	Controlled Burst (also good: Reservoir Burst)

With updated perks, there is damage to be done with this god roll, so start with Arrowhead Brake to keep recoil vertical and easy to keep on target with not much kick with each burst. Add Accelerated Coils to reduce Charge Time, allowing bursts to be pulled off more quickly.

Overflow can increase the magazine size to hold 120 percent of its usual charge when picking up Special or Heavy ammo, and this pairs perfectly with Controlled Burst to deal serious damage. Landing every bolt in the burst grants 20 percent increased damage and a 10 percent reduction in Charge Time.

This means if you can overflow the magazine and then hammer an opponent with the extra ammo and reduced Charge Time, Guardians can take chunks off even the toughest of enemies and at an increased pace.

PvP remains where this god roll will do the most damage, a nd it’s about using each perk to enhance its stats to take your opponents off guard and turn the match in your favor.

The combination of Arrowhead Brake and Projection Fuse allows perfect recoil control and added Range. This ensures each bolt goes straight into the opposing Guardian’s body, with less drop-off at longer sightlines.

Under Pressure then increases accuracy and stability; the lower the magazine, which will be rolling off the bat,t as you will not spawn with maximum ammo, so its potency kicks in from the off. Round off with Closing Time for essential buffs to Range, Accuracy, and Handling,g and the same as Under Pressure: lower ammo produces a more effective weapon, which means this god roll will operate at its highest level for almost the majority of its time in Guardian hands.

How to get The Wizened Rebuke

The Wizened Rebuke can drop from participating in the Iron Banner playlist. Simple. You can also attune to it to increase your chances of obtaining it when farming the playlist.

Besides the obvious, you can also purchase Iron Banner Weapon Engrams from the Reward Shop, up to Tier 5, depending on your Guardian Rank. During the event, you can also earn rewards through challenges in the Event Home, including Iron Banner Weapon Engrams.
