Snipehunt MK. 47 is a much-needed booster for Auto Rifles and fans of Lightweight Frames. Will do its best work in PvE when leaning into the benefits of the Arc perks. A solid all-rounder and lots of fun potential in its perk combinations.

How good is Snipehunt MK. 47
The meta may not be in favor of Lightweight Frames, but Snipehunt MK. 47 has the perks to make a lasting impression, and for Auto Rifle fans, it’s one to look out for.
This Auto Rifle leans into the Arc element, and with the added Chaos Reshaped perk, it enhances its value tenfold for what it can bring to PvE activities and, more importantly, how it enhances Arc builds. Perks such as Jolting Feedback and Supercharged Magazine ensure power or a reliable way to overflow the magazine should Guardians lean into it. Chaos Reshaped is a top-tier perk, but can easily be switched with Rolling Thunder for more Arc focus to complement perk slot 1, should it be required.
For PvP, it feels like a mixed bag, but there’s something there for those who are fans of the archetype. Snipehunt MK. 47 is A-Tier for PvE and B-Tier for PvP.

Snipehunt MK. 47 could slide under the radar, but this god roll has a lot going for it with what you can build with its perk set.
The combination of Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell is the base to build from, adding Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed, which are all essential stats for this fast-firing weapon. It does have quite a kick, so swapping Fluted Barrel for Arrowhead Brake may be of benefit to Guardians out there for the Recoil control.
Jolting Feedback is a top perk when it comes to Arc gear, and as this weapon fires so quickly, Guardians should have no issue landing the shots required to apply Jolt, adding extra damage to the onslaught. Chaos Reshaped is where this weapon shines. It rewards being in combat with its second stack, up to 35 percent damage increase. A deadly perk combination exclusive to the Snipehunt MK. 47.

The cousin of The Riposte holds its own in the Crucible, and this god roll is the best way to compete.
Start with Arrowhead Brake to rein in the harsh recoil to ensure shots are more predictable. The bonus to Handling makes this weapon feel incredibly snappy in play. Ricochet Rounds is the next step, with increases to vital stats in Range and Stability. This, combined with the recoil control, ensures Snipehunt MK. 47 is easy to keep on target whilst in battle and remains as effective at longer distances.
Killing Wind rewards kills with added Range, Handling, and Mobility. Effectively rewarding a ‘run and gun’ playstyle, which this weapon is a fantastic complement to. Finish off with Dynamic Sway Reduction, which ensures Stability is consistently increasing with each shot. This helps fight against flinch while in battle and, most importantly, keeps it laser-focused on its target.
