Destiny 2 Pluperfect: God Rolls and How to get it

 Far and away the best Legendary, Kinetic High-Impact Auto Rifle, and it carries interesting perk combinations, especially in PvE. On the PvP side, it’s not a great fit for the current meta, but the weapon type can do a job if used to its advantage.

How good is Pluperfect

Pluperfect doesn’t have much competition where Kinetic, High-Impact Frames are concerned, and easily comes out on top for its lane. The ones above it are some of the best Auto Rifles in the game, only held back by the Frame itself, as there are more desirable types out there, such as Rapid and Support Frames. 

That said, Pluperfect does offer unique combinations in PvE, and it’s got a solid base to build from in PvP, even though it’s not particularly favored in the current sandbox as a weapon type. Leaning into what it’s good at can yield positive results in a 6v6 environment. 

Perks such as Stopping Power and All-Star getting spotlight should be enough to interest Guardians to give this weapon a runout. This god roll does its best to provide an effective piece of gear that matches your goals. Pluperfect is B-Tier for PvE and C-Tier for PvP.

The Pluperfect Kinetic Auto Rifle can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Outlaw, Rangefinder, Dynamic Sway-Reduction, Rewind Rounds, Stopping Power, Enlightened Action, Demolitionist.
• Perk 2: Rampage, All-Star, Kinetic Tremors, Adhesive Ordnance, Closing Time, Aggregate Charge, Adrenaline Junkie.
• Origin Trait: Fail-Deadly.

Fluted Barrel is the base to add an essential increase to Handling, which starts relatively low, and the same applies to the next perk, Flared Magwell, which provides Stability and Reload Speed to help build up these god rolls stats to a good spot for the Frame.

Stopping Power is a unique perk to Kinetic weaponry and ensures the hard-hitting shots can stagger enemies more easily, and this even adds a damage bonus when beating down on low health targets up to 15%. Kinetic Tremors remains a top-tier perk as consistent hits cause your target to release a damaging shockwave, which also helps take out any surrounding foes. All-Star is a solid alternative as it not only refills the magazine, but it also provides a 35 percent damage buff, which is not to be ignored when bringing that much power to the table.

For PvP, Pluperfect does hold quality stats, and if used within its advantages, there’s a solid god roll here for fans of the weapon type.

Hammer-Forged Rifling in the barrel adds +10 to Range to help push this to near maximum, with the remainder picked up in a later perk. This ensures the weapon remains effective at the longest possible distance. Ricochet Rounds then adds another bump here, and also Stability increases, which helps keep the reticle centred as quickly as possible between shots.

Dynamic Sway-Reduction whilst at full tilt adds Stability and accuracy bonuses, which are essential for this weapon to ensure shots are kept on target with ease. Closing Time rounds off this god roll mainly for its further buff to accuracy and the added Range as the magazine gets lower, ensuring maximum Range can be secured, making this weapon deadly even in unlikely spots.

How to get Pluperfect
