How good is Bug-Out Bag

Bug-Out Bug feels like a forgotten Submachine Gun within the current sandbox. However, its qualities and especially its god roll are absolutely worth the chase. Holding some of the most desirable perks for a Void weapon, Bug-Out Bug is a favorite of the recent weapon refresh.

For PvE, it carries everything a Guardian needs for this type of weapon. Perfectly complementing any Void-focused subclass setup, there’s also plenty to go after in terms of variety, with perks like Attrition Orbs and Threat Detector there for those who want it to suit a preferred playstyle. 

No doubt the hunt for this god roll will be for its PvE qualities, but the feeling remains for its PvP variant. Plenty of hot perks, and it will be an asset for any team with this god roll or the potential variety it brings. Bug-Out Bag is A-Tier for PvE and B-Tier for PvP.

For this god roll, we start with Fluted Barrel for the Handling increase and Flared Magwell for added Stability with the bonus to Reload Speed. This allows the gun to feel great in motion, easy to keep shots on target with less kick from each spray, and a swift reload to get Guardians back in the fight.

The main event is the ever-powerful Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. Each kill causes a Void explosion, which makes surrounding foes Volatile, finishing off, and then grants an overshield. This allows for Guardians to get up close and personal whilst constantly feeding a shield to keep them alive. This set of perks is effective across all difficulties of content.

Attrition Orbs are worth mentioning here, as this fast-firing weapon has no issues producing Orbs of Power and can always come in handy as an alternative.

Having all the tools for a solid god roll, start Bug-Out Bag with Hammer-Forged Rifling and Ricochet Rounds. The immediate +15 to Range is essential to producing a potent god roll, with the added Stability helping keep the recoil and flinch in check whilst going from battle to battle.

A fast-firing weapon like this feels great with the added movement, so Perpetual Motion works best here. Fast-paced play is rewarded with Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed, all of which complement the best of this weapon perfectly. Finish off with Target Lock, which provides a much-needed damage increase that depends on landing shots consistently. Headshots are always the main focus in PvP, but with the RPM and Target Lock in play, Bug-Out Bag has the potential to shred through opponents with ease.
