Unique items are some of the rarest and most specialized weapons and armor pieces in Diablo 4. Not all Unique items are created equal, though, as some of them are class-specific while others aren’t. Plus, a handful of Uniques are so rare Blizzard calls them Mythic Uniques (previously referred to as Uber Uniques).
This guide covers all the Unique items in Diablo 4, available as of Season of Hatred.
Uniques in Diablo 4
Offering top-tier stats and powerful affixes, most Uniques are available in World Tier 3 (Nightmare) difficulty, while a few select ones can only be found in World Tier 4. Unlike Legendary weapons that can drop with random Aspects and Affixes, Unique items feature fixed Affixes and unique Effects that can’t be found anywhere else.

Season 6 (and 5) Changes
With Vessel of Hatred and Season 6, Blizzard released 20 Uniques and 4 Mythics to its loot tables. That said, the big changes came with Season 5.
All Unique items received an update to better align with Blizzard’s current design philosophy. All Uniques, including Mythics, became much stronger and the latter are easier to recognize in-game:
How to target farm Unique items
Before Season 2, there were no specific methods to farm Unique items in Diablo 4. All you could do was try to farm them the same way you can farm a specific weapon type or armor slot: By farming the associated Enemy types in Nightmare dungeons. For example, if you wanted to farm a Unique Dagger, you had to farm Bandits and Cultists, preferably in Nightmare Dungeons.
This method still applies, and you can still farm Uniques by chasing specific enemy types; however, you can now farm Uniques by farming Endgame Bosses.

Diablo 4 Mythic Uniques
A handful of Unique items are so rare and hard to find Adam Jackson, Lead Class Designer for Diablo IV, had to clarify on Twitter their true nature. The rarest Uniques in Diablo 4, now called Mythics, are the following:

How many Uniques can you equip?
Diablo 4 has no restriction on the number of Unique items your character can equip at any given time. Technically speaking, you can equip a Unique item for every armor, jewelry, and weapon slot on your character.
Can you extract unique aspects Diablo 4?
You cannot extract the unique Aspect of a Unique item. The same goes for its affixes. Unlike Legendary weapons that can roll with random Affixes and Legendary Aspects, Uniques have fixed Affixes and an exclusive Unique effect that can’t be found anywhere else.
