Diablo 4 Uber Unique Items: The Complete List

by | May 14, 2024

Unique items are the rarest and most specialized weapons and armor pieces in Diablo 4. But not all Unique items are created equal, though, as some of them are so rare Blizzard calls them “Uber” Uniques.

Despite extremely low drop rates, Uber Uniques are so strong they are the most sought-after items in the game. This guide covers every Uber Unique available in Diablo 4 today.

Diablo 4 Uber Uniques List: Season 4

As of Season 4: Loot Reborn, there are 7 Uber Unique items available (note that no new Uber Uniques were released these past 2 seasons):

Uber Unique Crafting

Since Patch 4.1.2.3, Uber Uniques are now craftable and slightly easier to find:

  • Uber Unique Items can be salvaged to create Resplendent Sparks. Players can bring 4 Resplendent Sparks to the Alchemist and Transmute an Uber Unique of their choice.
  • The drop chance of Uber Unique items acquired outside of Uber Bosses encounters has been increased.

This move was made to give players “increased autonomy in obtaining their desired Uber Unique.”

Season 4 Changes

While not as big as Season 3’s crafting system, Loot Reborn does bring welcomed changes to Uber Uniques:

  • Uber Unique Items can start dropping from monster level 55, drops at 925 item power.
  • The cost to craft Uber Unique items has been reduced from 5 Resplendent Sparks to 4.

How to farm Uber Uniques in Diablo 4

According to Blizzard, Uber Uniques was supposed to be “really rare,” but they clearly overdid it. Months after Diablo 4’s launch, virtually no one had an Uber Unique, which is why Blizzard added a more straightforward method to target farm them with Season 2.

As part of the Endgame Bosses system, you can now farm both Uber Duriel and Echo of Andarial for a chance of earning Uber Uniques.

How to Summon Duriel, the King of Maggots

Available in World Tier 4, Echo of Duriel requires players to defeat both Grigoire and Varshan in World Tier 4 to collect:

Once you have enough materials, you can summon Uber Duriel. Duriel is the ultimate Endgame Boss this Season and is the only boss that can drop Uber Unique items.

Note that all Uber Uniques that drop from Duriel will be guaranteed level 920 items.

Uber Unique drop rate

Blizzard never shares exact drop rates, and that applies to Uber Uniques. However, based on what was observed by the Diablo community in Season 1, drop rates for Uber Uniques were ridiculously low—one-in-a-million occurrences.

Blizzard clarified during their October 2023 Developer Update that Uber Uniques now have a “low chance drop”:

You will absolutely know people that have Uber Uniques. They are still very rare relative to other item types, but it’s not like it was in the past. You’re going to see people in your clan that have Uber uniques and you will know people that have actual Uber Uniques.

This Endgame Boss farming method applies to Season 4, the Eternal Realm, and every season moving forward

About Unique items in Diablo 4

Unique items are among the most sought-after items in the entire game. Offering top-tier stats and powerful affixes, Uniques are only available in World Tier 3 (Nightmare) difficulty and above. Unlike Legendary weapons that can drop with random Aspects and Affixes, Unique items feature fixed Affixes and unique Effects that can’t be found anywhere else. Most Uniques are Class-specific, but a few of them can be equipped by any Class.
