While the age of rapid fire snipers being a mainstay damage weapon are long behind us, Alone as a God’s reprisal allows it to contend with contemporary options, but still falls behind in a few key areas.

How good is Alone as a God
While Rapid-Fire Snipers were sadly left out of being buffed, they still top the charts for sustained damage, and Alone as a God’s new and improved perk pool will let it stand out amongst its peers. It has access to some of the strongest damage buffs in the game, and with Rewind Rounds and Lucky Shot in your Perk 1 pool, reloading will be a thing of the past.
As for PvP, it has only really one roll that’s usable, but with it being Lone Wolf and Closing Time, it’s not like it’s a bad one. Alone as a God is A-Tier for PvE and B-tier for PvP.

Alone as a God Perks and God Rolls
The Alone as a God Sniper rifle can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Rewind Rounds, Lucky Shot, Lone Wolf, Stopping Power, Lead from Light, Bewildering Burst, Ancillary Ordinance.
- Perk 2: Adhesive Ordinance, Kinetic Tremors, All-Star, Mega Kill Clip, Bait and Switch, Aggregate Charge, Closing Time.
- Origin Trait: Elliptical Orbit.

Nothing too fancy with our mag and barrel options. Polygonal is going to significantly help the poor stability on this weapon, which will make it much easier to land your crits, and Tactical Mag offers a nice boost to your mag without drawbacks.
For Perk 1, Rewind Rounds will be your go to perk for damage. Nothing really beats it out in terms of sustained damage. Perk 2 will either be Bait and Switch or Aggregate Charge, both very easy to activate and very strong, and Aggregate Charge can be quickly reactivated without a weapon swap.

While the handling on this is already high, pushing it even further allows for a very snappy sniper, and the addition of Ricochet Rounds will make your follow-up shots much smoother.
For Perk 1 and 2, there’s really no better options than Lone Wolf and Closing Time, respectively. They buff pretty much every stat, which offsets the lower base stats like stability, making this gun feel even better to use.
