Released with the Renegades DLC, Nox Sidereal IV is a 
Stasis Fusion Rifle that can be farmed in Portal Ops activities. A Stasis take on the Aggressive frame, it won’t make you drop your Riptide or Burden of Guilt anytime soon, but it should be a fun addition to your arsenal. How good is Nox Sidereal IV
Admittedly, this weapon is not taking home any awards for how good it is. There are sadly just far more powerful options, both in and out of slot, and it’s hard to outperform or even come close to the likes of Riptide or Burden when it comes to Stasis fusions. No Chill Clip, no decent reload perk, and Discord being in column 4 puts this firmly behind the majority of its contemporaries. Don’t even get me started on the stats. Nox Sidereal IV is C-Tier for PvE and D-tier for PvP.

To start off, Fluted Barrel and Accelerated Coils will be our barrel and battery options. These will give much-needed bumps to the lowest stats on here and give a decent increase to charge speed.
The perk offerings in general are rather poor here, but we think that Clown Cartridge or Demolitionist for Perk 1 is your best bet. Clown Cartridge can synergize with Reservoir Burst, taking advantage of the mag overflow for more buffed bursts, and Demolitionist will pair nicely with Crystalline Corpsebloom thanks to the crystal kills refunding energy, much like Headstone.
