Destiny 2 Finite Impactor: God Rolls & How to get it

Finite Impactor can be a useful tool and will make Hand Cannon fans happy with its effectiveness in both PvE and PvP. However, it can feel limited in terms of perks, especially when compared to its strongest competitors.

How good is Finite Impactor

Finite Impactor, being an Adaptive Frame, means it sounds and feels good to use. That said, it is lacking those final perks to take into the top-tier in the current meta for PvE, and is lacking higher stats to compete strongly in PvP. Its best perks are for PvP, with damage and range boosters the key to making it a useful weapon in the arena.

For PvE, it leaves a lot to be desired in the current sandbox, and other armaments offer better utility. You can get a tune out of it using this god roll, but its overall effectiveness falls short. Pairing it with a Solar-focused build to get the most out of Burning Ambition would be the best move if the focus is to use it in PvE. Finite Impactor is B-Tier for PvE and B-Tier for PvP.

Finite Impactor is a Solar Hand Cannon and can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Iron Grip, Fragile Focus, Heal Clip, Enlightened Action, Slideways, Killing Wind, Elemental Capacitor.
• Perk 2: Iron Reach, Burning Ambition, Precision Instrument, Rapid Hit, Magnificent Howl, Moving Target, Heating Up.
• Origin Trait: Skulking Wolf, Suros Synergy.

Finite Impactor starts with excellent recoil control, so we can go for Fluted Barrel for a Handling boost and Appended Mag to increase the Magazine size.

Heal Clip starts by rewarding health when reloading after a kill, a great perk for ensuring safety in tough encounters, and can get Guardians quickly back into the fight after taking some damage. Finish this god roll off with Burning Ambition, which not only fits great into a Solar or Prismatic build that causes Scorch, but it can also produce Ignitions, which can help deal damage to surrounding enemies to your target. This damage also counts towards Heal Clip if any threats go down due to Scorch or Ignition.

Precision Instrument is a solid alternative here, as after 6 successful hits, a 25% damage boost will be available until the next reload. Add a Backup Mag mod for more bullets to keep it rolling for longer.

Start this off with the combination of Hammer-Forged Rifling and Ricochet Rounds, giving a straight +15 to Range. Another bonus is that it comes out of the box with excellent recoil control.

Fragile Focus is the first choice here, as Killing Wind requires a kill to load up. Fragile Focus edges this out for its base +20 to Range, as long as you have your shield up, which will play into its effective range, making it easier to engage with opponents to ensure your shield is as safe as possible. Round off with Precision Instrument, a solid perk that rewards hits with a scaling damage increase up to 25% when reaching 6 stacks. Be aware, reloading or missing the next shot removes all stacks, so this perk rewards an accurate hand the most.

Precision Instrument is the more forgiving choice here compared to Magnificent Howl, with both having positive points in the Crucible.
