Looks like the Weekly Reset is back, at least partially. After months of complaints regarding the dreaded Portal experience and the lack of a weekly chase, Bungie is finally ready to right some wrongs.
Today marks the launch of Vanguard Alerts: Handpicked activities with bonus rewards, aiming to entice players to tackle them each week.

Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts herald the return of Grandmaster Nightfalls, offering Tier 5 weapons with unique Origin Traits and currency rewards for your time and mastery over significantly more challenging content. Available now for all players in the Seasonal Hub and in the Portal.
