How good is VS Gravitic Arrest
VS Gravitic Arrest hosts a variety of perks that make it an extremely solid option in all areas of the game.
With Demolitionist and Repulsor Brace in the first column and Chain Reaction and Withering Gaze in the second, VS Gravitic Arrest is meant for Void builds. While relying on a special ammo weapon for a build can be difficult, Gravitic Arrest is a nice complement to any setup you already have solidified.
VS Gravitic Arrest also contains a solid set of perks for The Crucible. Pairing the new perk Closing Time with Under Pressure results in significant benefits as your magazine gets lower, making this a solid pick for any fusion rifle lovers. VS Gravitic Arrest is A-Tier in PvE and PvP.

Fluted Barrel and our masterwork of choice contribute to building into what is generally the most important perk for PvE: handling. For our magazine perk, Enhanced Battery is something you can’t go wrong with.
The synergy of Repulsor Brace and Withering Gaze can’t be ignored, which is why it’s our recommended god roll. Even if you aren’t using this weapon with a Void build, this roll is still extremely potent and contains a gameplay loop that sustains itself. However, if you’re instead looking for a more general roll, Demolitionist and Chain Reaction are your best bets.

For Gravitic Arrest’s PvP roll, we’ll start by focusing on range with Extended Barrel, Projection Fuse, and a range masterwork (which can be swapped to stability if desired).
Under Pressure is a relatively clear pick for perk one since you’ll almost always be at the bottom of your magazine in The Crucible. As for perk two, Closing Time has the same activation requirements as Under Pressure, making the combo extremely appealing. That said, some players will definitely opt for Successful Warm-up over Closing Time, which makes chaining kills a whole lot easier.
How to get VS Gravitic Arrest
VS Gravitic Arrest comes from the new Vesper’s Host dungeon. Like every other raid and dungeon release in Destiny 2, the activity features specific loot pools for every encounter. Luckily, VS Gravitic Arrest is a part of all three, meaning you’ll have a chance of receiving the weapon after each fight.
