Revenant has been out for a while now, and perhaps the best part so far is all the new and updated weapons to accompany it. Here, we’ll cover a popular Trials of Osiris weapon that got an updated perk pool this episode: Tomorrow’s Answer.
Chapters
How good is Tomorrow’s Answer
While this rocket’s frame quickly makes it an unpopular pick for PvE, it has tons of redeeming perks that make it somewhat useable.
Tomorrow’s Answer ends up having most perks Guardians search for in PvE. From high-DPS options like Bait and Switch and Envious Assassin to utility picks like Bipod and Withering Gaze, the weapon does its best to ascend past its weak frame (and to an extent, it does).
As for The Crucible, Tomorrow’s Answer doesn’t do anything in particular to excel, but it doesn’t need to. Simply being a rocket launcher places it in the category of useable PvP heavy weapons, despite it not being a must-have. Overall, Tomorrow’s Answer is A-Tier in PvE and B-Tier in PvP.

Tomorrow’s Answer PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Launcher | Quick Launch |
Magazine | Impact Casing |
Perk 1 | Envious Arsenal (also good: Withering Gaze) |
Perk 2 | Bait and Switch (also good: Bipod) |
Masterwork | Handling |
We’ll start our PvE roll with extra handling, damage, and velocity through Quick Launch, Impact Casing, and a handling masterwork.
If you’re looking for a boss damage option, Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch have tons of synergy that work perfectly with a weapon rotation. However, if you’re looking to escape the DPS niche and venture into something utility-based, swapping these for Withering Gaze and Bipod is the way to go.
Tomorrow’s Answer PvP god rolls
PvP Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Launcher | Quick Launch |
Magazine | High-Velocity Rounds |
Perk 1 | Impulse Amplifier (also good: Danger Zone) |
Perk 2 | Vorpal Weapon (also good: Chain Reaction) |
Masterwork | Handling |
For our Crucible roll, we’ll start with Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, and a handling masterwork for high velocity and handling.
Impulse Amplifier increases velocity even further, making it a great option for your first perk; however, Danger Zone should also be mentioned, which effectively eliminates self-damage and lets you use Tomorrow’s Answer in more close-range scenarios.
As for the final column, there really aren’t many standout options. Vorpal Weapon is a nice bonus to combat Super abilities, while Chain Reaction can sometimes grant some benefit if enemies are grouped up.
How to get Tomorrow’s Answer
Tomorrow’s Answer is a Trials of Osiris weapon, meaning simply playing the activity gives you a chance at earning it. Directly focusing the weapon at Saint-14 is also an option, costing 1 Trials Engram and 25,000 Glimmer. The final method of obtaining the base version of this weapon is through Saint-14’s rank-up pathway, which grants a (albeit, very bad) roll of Tomorrow’s Answer.
Tomorrow’s Answer also has an Adept version, granting extra stat bonuses, among other things. This higher-tier version is only available on certain weeks and can be purchased at Saint-14 for 1 Trials Engram, 10 Osirion Ciphers, and 50,000 Glimmer while featured.
