Destiny 2 Sullen Claw: God Rolls & How to get it

Released with the Renegades DLC, Sullen Claw is a  Void Lightweight Sword that can be farmed from the Equilibrium Dungeon. Sullen Claw brings the Lightweight grame into the modern sandbox with great potential for movement, damage, and Void synergy. How good is Sullen Claw

Sullen Claw is a great weapon to have available in both PvE and PvP. Either focusing on pure damage or leaning into its Void element, Sullen Claw has all the tools available to it to get the job done. Also carrying the fan favourite and incredibly useful Eager Edge perk, which is worth noting due to it being a top-tier perk in both PvE and PvP. 

Due to the potential perk combinations it carries, Sullen Claw is a no-brainer to jump into Equilibrium and grab the god roll. 

In PvP, the Lightframe has everything needed to excel at closing the gap and enhancing movement around the arena, which is key to dodging shots and taking up strong positions to turn the tide of battle. Sullen Close is B-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

The Sullen Claw is a Void Sword that can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Eager Edge, Proximity Power, Vorpal Weapon, Relentless Strike, Repulsor Brace, Flash Counter, Impromptu Ammunition.
• Perk 2: Binary Orbit, Destabilising Rounds, Sword Logic, Bait and Switch, Whirlwind Blade, Assassin’s Blade, Counterattack.
• Origin Trait: Imperial Allegiance.

This roll starts with Tempered Edge for added Impact, which increases damage and also increases ammo capacity to allow for more slicing through enemies. Swordmaster’s Guard boosts essential stats for the Sword, with the main being the added Charge Rate boost for blocking and effective use of the heavy attack.

The main perks start with Eager Edge. Always heavily chased when found on a new or returning weapon, when pulling out your sword, you can lunge at greater distances, either on the ground or in the air, making for extremely useful movement tech and to easily close the gap on dangerous enemies, to then be in range to chop them down. Whirlwind Blade then closes off this roll for adding a 3 percent damage increase up to 10 hits, so it can cap out at a massive 30 percent damage increase when in full flow.

We can do this by loading this god roll up with Honed Edge for added impact, ensuring Sullen Claw hits hard and can help negate any damage resistance or shields the opponent may possess. Balanced Guard then comes in for a solid split between Resistance and Endurance, should Sullen Claw be needed to take a few shots to help keep its wielder alive in a tough spot.

Eager Edge comes back in just like its PvE counterpart for its extreme speed when closing the gap once equipped. This is incredibly effective at taking opponents off guard for a quick kill or for quickly positioning yourself in dangerous locations in the arena for your and the team’s benefit. Finalise this god roll with Assassin’s Blade, which grants increased movement speed as a reward for final blows. Great for a quick getaway or to pounce on the next enemy before they can react.
